    100 year registration is plain silly. Ten year ones currently are popular but really only to those who have very valuable names or dont want the hassle of re-registering names every year.

    The idea of allowing a user to specify a date for renewals is best, for example April 1st could become the date all the domains for a company are renewed, rather than scattered dates throughout the year.

    I have heard of something like that for cars ages ago, basically replays the engine sound over the car sound to negate it.

    There were various addons with such a system so you could add a roar of a 911 or rattle of a clapped out sad wanker boy racer in the car.

    Microsoft paid that in 2000, the year when anyone with an understanding of Frontpage Express could get zillions in venture capital.

    $124 million in 2003 however is a fair whack!
