Do you know about the deliberate mass purging of at least 50,000 black people (who vote 90% democrat in Florida) from the voter rolls that was orchestrated by Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris (the director of elections in Florida AND a member of George W. Bush's campaign...hmmm)? No of course not. Did you know that whether the vote was 5-4 or 7-2 is irrelevant, because the Supreme Court decision was highly irregular, highly unprecedented, highly flawed and highly unconstitutional?
Someone knows everything you watch anyway, with your TiVo. Maybe you weren't thrilled with the idea of TWO someone's knowing what you watch? I have a TiVo also and I definitely wouldn't give it up to be a Nielsen family either:)
The big questions that NOBODY is asking is did he see it from someone else or come up with it on his own? If he invented it on his own without seeing it from someone else it's still pretty cool.
Last time I heard Spielberg was working with Cruise on a scifi project I was excited, but it ended up being a piece of turd. I know it got great reviews, but who can honestly tell me that Minority Report was a good movie?
Dude, are you kidding? It's a fucking game! Seriously, yeah I hate pacman because it's so unrealistic. What about crossword puzzles, that's not too realistic, is it?
Either the game is fun or it's not, it's not trying to be realistic. And by the way, Halo makes sure that the running speed is accurate with respect to scale.
Then why are you mentioning this on Slashdot (with an anonymous account?) Why don't you post it somewhere where people care. People are not used to serious posts on slashdot.
There's no way they'll fix it for WUSB. The reason is that INTEL is behind it. Intel pushes a standard like USB rather than firewire *BECAUSE* USB eats up CPU cycles (and firewire doesn't). Think about it....Intel, a CPU company, wants you to waste cycles. What a surprise.
DNA is REPLICATED during cell reproduction (division) but DNA is used (to create RNA to create proteins...) for ALL cell functions.

I was checking out his books on amazon and I came across, his collection of short stories called "Toast: And Other Rusted Features". Aside from a glowing review from Cory Doctorow, the author, Charles Stross also gave a review. But he gave it 4 stars! Heh, I guess he didn't like it *THAT* much.....er, unless of course that's not really him. I can't decide..
Actually Congress didn't declare war, they just gave permission to Bush to go to war whenever he chose. There's a difference.
Thats true for normal situtations, but when you're playing with only railguns fov 80 is great.
If you were black would you completely understand getting stopped more often while driving, or while walking down the street?
Really, which airlines? Who did they pay the amount to?
Please cite? An in-depth analysis by who? Where can I read about this?

Clue for idiot: there's no "NOT FUNNY" mod. So you were modded offtopic instead.
Well inverse proportionality is even worse than linearity, as far as consistency of voltage is concerned.

That would be cool but I hear it's impossible to transmit information faster than light, no matter what...
actually sounds like voxels, since the lumps are cubic...

The word "bias" is biased. It's an orientation. Ooooh, Slashdot is OSS oriented big surprise. What was your point again?
Voting is SUPPOSED to be anonymous. There are many reasons why internet voting is a BAD IDEA, but anonymity is not one of them.

Okay that sounds cool enough, just trying to point out that you're shoveling shit against the tide in this cesspool here.

Sorry you don't know what you're talking about. Lost in Translation did not win, Lord of the Rings won (obviously).
Yes, yessss, the lack of education people has is terrible terrible problem.
