Is there any particular song out there that is available in AAC for your iPod but not available in WMA for a portable player? Or are you saying that the WMA services give you an OPTION of getting certain songs in a non-portable format (presumably for less of a cost, or more of the non-portable songs allowed per month)? I'm not disagreeing, I'm just asking.

Actually, you're wrong, there are TRUE random number generators. There's no such thing as a SOFTWARE random number generator, but there are certainly random number generators, for example, a die (dice). They even make random number generators using the random movement of molecules as a source that can be hooked up to your computer for true random number generation.

The problem with the game for me is I usually don't know WHY I'm doing anything. Why exactly do I want to "zoom in" and how will that help me get more V-points or whatever? How will speeding everything up help me to kill all these enemies?

Even if I do well one round or something, I'm just not feeling it. I'm never quite sure what I did right to give me a good score.

I'm just disappointed after all those good reviews.

Yes, I did play it. In fact, I read so many GLOWING reviews of this game on /. in this story, that I ran out to buy the game.

This is my opinion: the game SUCKS. It's not a platformer like Super Mario World or Mega Man, it's really more like a dance game than anything else.

I'm not saying that it's not possible that I just don't understand it or know how to play. But I think it SUCKS and I don't get any pleasure out of playing it.

  14. Re:Viewtiful Joe on Best Original Games of 2003? · · Score: 1

Sorry, but this is bullshit. The game sucks. Everyone says its good, but its completely retarded. The game may have a 2D perspective, but it has less in common with Super Mario World and Mega Man than it does with Parappa the Rapper. This game is more of a dancing game than a 2D platformer side-scroller.

I still think that men are the primary game players and that this survey is slightly faulty. It only says what percentage of people consider themselves gamers. The fact of the matter is, this was a POLL, which assumes the people answering are telling the truth. I'm not saying anyone is lying, but now it's considered cool to be into games, to the point where people would say yes even if they really didn't play that much.

Also, I think most women who play games play because their boyfriend plays. I would bet that most women "gamers" don't really know all that much about games.
