Since it took McDonalds 23 years to sell their 1 billionth hamburger (famously, on the Art Linkletter Show in 1963), and it only took Apple 9 years, I guess that tells us that iPhones taste better than McDonalds.
Most countries don't bother too much with that whole "burden of proof" thing. Just think about the thin evidence that puts people behind bars in the US, and then consider that we have some of the *best* protections in the world. In many countries the trial is focused on the content of the crime, and what the appropriate punishment should be.
A lot of people live in apartments where even if you have room for a nice setup, there's little or no opportunity to put it to good use without being a complete asshole to your neighbors. Also, unless you're sitting remarkably close to your remarkably large television, the screen in a theater is going to present a larger viewing angle. Some people don't like that, but for those who do, it's a more immersive experience.
I dunno where you live, but they're already doing that in many places. Angelika Film Centers are probably the most progressive in that regard, but even many AMC theaters are following the trend toward a more adult experience.
Attendance has been steadily declining over the past 15 years, even as sales have been increasing. This means fewer people are paying more. Where I live, more cinemas than not have full bars, prepared food, and comfy, reclining seats. Eventually, with the possible exception of less population-dense areas, this is what the theater experience will be going forward, and cell-phone using, popcorn-gobbling, soda-swilling teeny boppers will be relegated to watching movies at home on their XBox Two (or on a phone, at school probably).
He didn't. The headline is misleading, but neither was it a joke. What he said was, if they have already hacked the server, he would love for the emails to be released.
"They probably have them. I'd like to have them released... It gives me no pause. If they have them, they have them," Trump added later when asked if his comments were inappropriate. "If Russia or China or any other country has those emails, I mean, to be honest with you, I'd love to see them."
You guys are silly if you think either Russia or China needed to hack Hillary's private server in order to get access to our classified information. It's almost insulting to those countries to believe they would think that small.
Oh, sure. Next you'll tell us that Sam Branson, Allegra Versace, and Athina Onassis didn't work for every penny either?!? Do you have any idea how hard it is to ride horses? DO YOU???
If your "university" courses are all about pitching the next level course where the *real* secrets are, at a higher fee, you may be enrolled in a scam. Actually, if it alleges to sell secrets at all.
WikiLeaks has shown great interest in anti-US material, and comparatively very little interest in anything that disparages Russia.
That may well be true, but Russia isn't presenting itself as the bastion of human rights, democracy, and transparency. Nobody would be shocked to learn that Putin was illegitimately and/or illegally manipulating popular support. That would just be par for the course.
Seriously. "It's their fault for exposing our lies, not our fault for lying in the first place." Jesus Christ.
TBH, Hillary should be the one resigning, as she was the beneficiary of the DNC's manipulation. Actually, she should have already resigned over the email server, which was at best incompetence, and at worst criminal wrongdoing, but in either event a terrible lack of good judgment.
This has to be one of the worst Presidential elections in recent history. I thought '04 was particularly bad when the Democrats couldn't front a candidate to beat Bush, but at least Bush had some popular support. In this election, neither candidate has popular support, with both running around 70% unfavorable. In other words, no matter who wins, the majority of the country does NOT want them as President. We need to carefully consider how our system got us into this position, and how we can avoid it in the future.
Personally, I'm in favor of major overhaul and a transition to direct democracy, but I think there are a plethora of alternatives that are more resistant to corrupt manipulation than our current system. Even a parliamentary system would at least give other viewpoints a voice in governance rather than the binary system we have now.
Drone deliveries from 7-11? Ugh. That's a bit like learning you're finally going to lose your virginity, and then finding out it's going to be with Uncle Bob.
They don't have the "freedom" to use pirated versions of Windows or hack foreign nations either. I'm sure this law will be enforced just as diligently as those.

We'll get right on that.

It was a joke the same was "it would be a real shame if anything happened to those knees," is a joke. Plausibly deniable, but with malicious intent.

By the time they get to that finger, it will require a passcode to be unlocked.
Sorry, my free time is worth more to me than a second job.
Unfortunately, the laws of physics still forbid investing with the benefit of hindsight.
Birth rates among various economic strata beg to differ.

I too have a mysterious job that I won't describe so nobody can refute its necessity.
Damn, son, I hope you dropped the mic, cause you just TRUMPED that thread. Build the wall 2016, Mexico something something, look at my wife!

Is this guy on Apple's payroll or something? To my ears, he might as well be begging me not to buy BlackBerry. (Do they even sell phones anymore?)
