Release it? He doesn't have to, but he doesn't have to flaunt it either. It's like sitting down and eating a delicious steak in front of starving people. It's still a dick move. If he doesn't plan to release it, then don't bother to announce it.
Because he likely used an existing exploit and changed some addresses for the new OS/Hardware. That's not the same as discovering a new vulnerability and exploiting it in the same amount of time. It's like remarking that someone had a baby less than 24 hours after getting married, and not understanding how that could be possible.
You know who tries to locate someone without being noticed? Predators. This sounds like a good way to make aliens wary of us, especially if we're unsuccessful. And it stands to reason that we would be unsuccessful if they're more technologically advanced than us. If they're not, then we have little to be afraid of anyway.
It's only a matter of time before we can program a new building, or at least the instructions for automated construction devices ("robots," if you will).
We used to think a leisure society was something to work toward. It still can be, but we need social programs in place to support a (mostly) jobless society.
I think this is a stupid program, but your argument is still a false dichotomy and you erroneously equate more resources for other/unsolved crimes with better results. Some crimes are simply unsolvable with available information, and no amount of money or manpower will change that.
I agree. If we spent the same amount of time, money, and attention on issues and policies that we do on candidates, we could just have a direct democracy and stop enabling power-mongers.
What a myopic comment. That's like saying that asparagus is a failed vegetable because you have to eat other things too in order to get complete nutrition. Socialism isn't a cure-all, and neither is a free market, but when combined, they can and do have fantastic results. Pretty much every country that ranks above us in critical measures like education, health, longevity, quality of life, and happiness have *more* socialism than we do, not less. We are social creatures. And every service the government provides to the public is socialist by definition, including defense, so it's always just a question of degrees, unless you think the government should do nothing.
Actually, it's a shockingly misleading title. 15% of independents have changed their mind after reading a Facebook post?!? That's a huge number. Elections have been won by far smaller margins. Any candidate would give an arm for that kind of movement.
Seriously though, all available data shows an inverse correlation between income and birth rate, both domestically and internationally. That could be lack of access to contraception, or lack of education surrounding contraception, or something else entirely, but it's certainly for want of sex. So there are a variety of plausible explanations for the fact that millennials are having less sex, but socioeconomics is not one of them. And don't let the headlines fool you -- 85% of millennials have still had sex within the past 12 months, which is still a healthy majority.
In most cases, that's correct. It's also correct that cable companies typically solicit and receive "incentives" (a lot of money) from the county or independent city in which they install, offsetting the installation expense. This makes it a very low-risk proposition, with the only variable being subscriber interest rather than direct competition. The reason that cable companies can demand this is because one county or city did it initially, effectively making counties compete with each other for attention. It was a stupid thing to cave on, and not in the long term best interest of local governments or their constituents, if alternative models are any indication, but that's where we are.
Just, no. I have not given my children permission to use my car -- in fact, it's prohibited in all cases except when I expressly allow it for a specific purpose and duration. Anything else is theft, and yes, I could press charges if I wanted to. It sounds like you're either a self-entitled child, or a very irresponsible adult.
Third world country has third world water quality. Film at 11.
Hell, many first world countries have trouble with water quality, the US included. What would be surprising -- shocking, really -- is if Rio had pristine water with all of the slums and the lack of sanitation.
i say that to girls all the time. It works *amazingly* well at getting them to be the aggressors. "Now look, just because I'm letting you sleep over doesn't mean we're going to have sex!" I have yet to meet one who hasn't taken that as a challenge.
Anyway, yes, it's a double standard. You can either try to change the nature of women, or just go with it. I'll let you figure out which works better.
NAT is still possible with IPv6. It would really just force people to "break" the internet if they tried something like that.
Why not just make it 640k bits? 640k ought to be enough for anybody.
To be fair, US teenagers probably have more free time than any other age group besides retirees.
You don't need the source code -- you can simply sign a binary with your own dev credentials.

One time pads are very easy to break. Much more difficult to verify though. :)
I say good riddance!
Without jobs, they should have more time to bang!

Which will offer any sort of porn you want, as long as you want Donald and Melania porn.
Or Donald and Ivanka.
Except they're constantly being replaced by new angry grandpas. Now get off my lawn!

There are treaties against both, and nations are responsible for their citizens' actions under the treaty, whether state sponsored or not.
Now how the hell am I supposed to emoji the lyrics to paper planes?!?
"All I wanna do is [squirt] [squirt] [squirt] [squirt] and a $$" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
