As a Mac user i haven't really followed all this vista stuff. But all the 'innovativ'e functions that bill talks about in this vista presentation have been around in 'mac-land' for quite some time...

so they are delivering.ogg files to osX. Did they also wrote a vorbis quicktime component for qt7? Else those.ogg's are close to useless on osx since they con't be played in itunes.
a big community site here in the netherlands has been doing the exact same thing that is beeing patented here. I don't know exactly how long they've been doing this, but the site is online since 2000 and as far as i know this feature has always been there.

When i set it on i can't boot lilo cause my bios thinks it's a virus../-:
I think (with this in mind) that it would be possible for M$ to make a custom bios that not allows nonM$ osses to run, so porting linux would be hard. but cool though...
