I'm no expert, heck i'd call it a stretch even as a beginner, but from what i've read, you'd need an FXO line for the phone line to come in to, then however many phones you have, you need as many FXS lines.
Asterisk can then ring whichever the caller select from the menu, which is possible, it seems, according to the article and voip-info.org!
This porn thing is going to be a mess too. Porn is a HUGE industry. If there is going to be a format war internally there, you can expect nothing but a mess.
Yeah, damned porn industry, why are they always leaving a mess?! I pity the poor soul who has to clean up all the time..
I'd install everything but Folding. If you drop it to the bottom, you're getting at odds with staff, deliberately delaying him working - someone whos likely a revenue generating employee. The last thing you want is to get a bad name in the company. ("Oh, dont go to X, he's difficult")
And how can you say people-who-are-working's computers dont have spare cycles? Even our terminal servers have spare cycles, if they didnt, the users would be banging down my door!
I think 3dnow pro doesnt really include enough "extra" stuff to be worthwhile. It's mostly made up of the SSE instructions.. http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processor s/ProductInforma tion/0,,30_118_756_3734%5E3738,00.html
Yeah, could you imagine what would happen if ISP's let all their customers connect to remote SMTP servers by default. Just think of the rubbish the unscrupulous side of the internet would make!
Heh, good job they were on the ball and only allowed those who asked for it!

I'm gonna have to make me one of these boxes
The Oki 4200/4300 is a great small workgroup printer, about £200 cheaper than the equiv HP
But I then come along demanding royalties because I own the patents to bucks
How do we know all these donated patents are actually valid and unique? Has anyone checked before using them?
Great, a new bit of caselaw in america then..
Mmm.. I dont like Salford, I stay away from it, its full of scummers :(
:)
I've only been here 6 years but the whole place has changed immensely, you might be surprised if you visit again
Where the hell did you used to live?! Mosside??

That, and your data/life doesnt get held hostage when something goes wrong with it!

I know loads of people are going to whinge at this, so like Martin says at the end - LET THEM KNOW!
He gives his email address, martinta@microsoft.com - email him and let him know why you use linux. Get chipping!
Depending on the format of those images, you should be able to mount them on linux with a loopback device:
/path/to/image.iso /mount/point
mount -r -t iso9660 -o loop
I thought that Sony bought/paid Rockstar/whoever a while back to make the next X GTA games PSx only??
With good reason - Norton AV is crap :/
I really hope they dont put their "magic" into backupexec..
Bah, I would have complained about the "take anything thats not plugged in" ! :)
I'm a sysadmin, but a nice one.

cron yes, apache.. server yes, workstation no. If its a workstation, it really only ought to be used when needed!
:)
But hey, its linux, it should be configurable!
Really? Wheres the Windows port of Evolution?
Evolution is one of the big reasons pulling me to linux on my home pc (ok, not a great reason, but whatever
a drug dealer selling crack is gonna have a better name than someone selling salt..
uhmm, the P2 and therefore P3 and therefore PM were all based off Pentium Pro..
Surely if you speak to the hardware vendors or resellers they could provide you with test hardware, to help encourage the sale?
Very interesting, but probably not entirely passable in a court..
:)
Who knows! Could well be a cool career to get into
A more important question...
How long does it take to CHARGE?

This is the n00bs version of Linus' "real men back up their data to the net and let others mirror it" :)

Oh, wait..
