    One thing I've noted is that you don't actually have to pay large sums of money to be a Christian. In fact, I don't know of any mainstream churches that will toss you out or suspend you if you don't put any money in the collection plate.

    So, while the claims of both can be pretty stupid, Christianity actually is a religion, while $cientology is just a scam.

    WTF? Hers was a Human Rights Issue. Downloading of a movie is Theft. I may not like the costs to see a movie or listen to music, BUT Its whats funding thousands of jobs. My wife loses hers soon because the Movie Industry is laying off heavily.

    Basically Human Rights vs theft. How can you even compare them?

    Maybe the Movie and TV industry should start taking paycuts like the rest of us we complain about CEO's taking home far in excess in proportion to their contribution however actors are the same a small select group take home a disproportionate amount along with many fringe benefits. Then to be worse than the CEO's often expect to get paid over and over through royalties not just 1-5 years (as in bonuses) or even 17 years for a patent on something that saves lives, but 90 years.

    just a thought imagine if your bricklayer asked to get paid because our using the house you paid him to build

    Now before all of you start killing the messenger you should maybe consider this the start of a plan

    Maybe if the roadmap for linux could be mapped out. the developers could focus their time and resources where its needed rather than where they think its needed.

    iphones/ipods sell not because they do it well but also the average punter can make it work as advertised. Linux does not achieve this yet

    the problem with most of these external boxes is they have size limits, and even though you may plug in a drive and appear to be able to read and write it it doesn't work for long reliably

    to paraphrase "know your limits"

    I would really like one of these that mounts into the pc box

    School timetables most are 40-60 mins periods 10 mins for travel setup, settle and just enough time to focus your mind before it wanders at least for the majority strangely the more intelligent and the other end will wander sooner and the subject is relevant to their interests.

    we probably carry this reinforced programming into our adult life

    this "knowledge" has been around for a while maybe IBM wants someone to fight this or they are just showing the world how silly the patent system has become

    All there was was a screen and a keyboard mac mini were sold on the premise you would use your screen and KB from your pc no hack required.

    The only thing that will force a revolution in this industry is when you convince the parents of the entire teen population not to pay for shit their kids don't need.

    No just make them pay themselves and no BAIL-OUTS when they can't pay the bill they quickly get the message. Its amazing to compare what teens will wear/purchase/do when they equate hours worked to their purchases. Additionally you should not sign for a child's phone if the contract requires it. i.e. if the child is too young to sign for a contract themselves then the only option is no-contract/prepaid etc they must be taught responsibility before they become an exec on wall street

    they used to report the news that made them relevant, now the put there own spin as journalist, they did it to themselves by dumbing down the news. When I pick up the paper I want something to read not a bunch of soundbites and catchy headlines I want facts, which is the next problem. They rush the news out without details just to be first. what happened to in-depth reporting
