    If you believe there are only "3" Laws then you are not a true Asimov Fan. There are 4 Laws. The first three laws, plus a Zeroth Law developed by Asimov in his later novels. The movie stayed true to Asimov's conception of 4 Laws.

    A true fan would know of the 5th -1 Law (sentient life to be protected over humanity) Law which wasn't adhered to and caused a civil war with the robots

    Would be great except that Channel Nine in particular is famous for its shifting schedule. If you want to record something start recording a few hours before and stop a few hours after and you will still miss half the show Ask anyone who tried to watch Star Trek *.* on Nine Its also the reason other sources of TV shows are popular in Oz

    add a USB TV adapter to a imac 24" makes a simple PVR/entrainment system even a non-techie wife can use only downside so far I wish the TV was integrated into frontrow I could get rid of the other remote it is needed to turn on the TV and don't give me the mythTV/ modded xbox argument I said NON-techie wife

    Additionally Green aspect is the store/apple dispose of the hazardous waste not the typical user tossing into a landfill somewhere Personally don't have an iphone yet however at over 4hrs talk per day never needed to change batteries using Blkdeath's methods and when the battery is useless after 18 months or so, my phone is ready to be replaced due to wear and tear

    Either He said 'let there be light" where the luminosity was so bright it aged everything very quickly or maybe that was the Big Bang and as god moved at near Light Speed while creating the universe due to relativity 15 billion years was only 6 Days (he rested on the Seventh)

    of course that means he must be outside our universe, a being of many dimensions and there fore exists everywhere and all times simultaneously

    I don't think that will be the only option. Just thinking about potential programs I could write for some companies but would never see use in another company and a few the company would demand be kept in-house. iTunes store would kill this however needing to use iTunes would not be a problem

    They'll come up with that later. USB 1 had two data rates: "low speed", 1.5Mbits/s, and "full speed", 12Mbits/s. USB 2.0 added "high speed" at 480Mbits/s. No idea what superlative they'll reach for this time.

    I don't think anyone should be impressed by the size of a library. It should only depend on the quality of content.

    I'll reserve judgement on quality until I can read 970,000+ chinese books

    The ARIA is going to get the telephone company to permanently disconnect some poor Australian's telephone if they believe that they are downloading music

    Telstra already has been in hot water when a few people died due to poor/no telephone service and has even gone so far as to be careful with cutting business lines off even on non payment of bills. They now tend to restrict outgoing calls. I wonder will ARIA take responsibility for the 1st grandma who has gets cut off??

    Not only do they show 1.5 years later when they do they times they are shown are not stable (e.g. star trek shown after some sporting event when it finished) or worse entire seasons in 2-3 weeks unadvertised at odd times as a filler (e.g. Farscape) and beleive it or not the DVD box sets are usually available before or during the season being aired now and a clever purchaser can purchase from overseas.

    Personally i want to skip all the middle men and just buy my DVD from the content producers with maybe a download to keep me happy while I wait for a box set and i would be happy to pay upfront for something I like

    * Find content on the Internet or other places (via whatever means)
    From a legal source where the CEO prefers DRM free content and supports the content maker (note I know some goes to **AA types but it seems more is going directly and as some groups get smarter this will occur more often)

    * Download/aquire (again, however you need to)
    At various speeds or a guranteed speed from a reliable supplier and I don't have to wait for "seeders" to appear for long tail or older content

    * Watch on your TV (via any network-attached device or stand-alone DVD player that supports lots of codecs and can be controlled with a remote)
    A nice clean copy without station watermarks clipped sound and a guarantee it won't be some bit of porn that is just plug and play on a network attached device without burning another crappy poorly labeled DVD

    * What is available is controlled by some bullshit companies who will have your worst interest at heart
    They want to make a profit no argument

    * You have to watch ads
    Not Likely if its a subscription/pay service, I haven't seen ads in itunes music or shows. Youtube is free they need to pay bills somehow

    * You have to pay for downloads
    paying someone for something I want them to make more of. You get paid for working that is you do work don't you

    * Apple and Google spy on you
    you have something to hide ? believe me they won't be selling that online whatever it is and they couldn't care less about what you do watch because the long tail will capture everyones veiwing habits
