I honestly can't remeber the last time I went to a movie that was disrupted by a cell phone. I go to the movies a few times a month. I'm sure I can't be the only one that isn't having a hard time. What I want to know is why the picing on cell phones. If it's not a cell phone ringing is some one witha crying kid or someone making too much noise with the food or the wrapper or someone talking to teh person next to them. We have had distractions t the movie theatre for as long as I can remember.
I was reading this and saw the 165,000 figure and I knew that couldn't be much of the population. I checked wikipedia and it amounts to.2% of the population..2%, so i wondered what other groups made.2% or more of a population and figured I checked the amount of people who said they were Jedi for a religion in Britain. That came in at.7% of the countries population.
Thats probably why I like AMD. The whole underdog thing. I hope that as being the underdog the company is forced to make a superior product to stay alive and is probably willing to except a lower margin to gain market share. Thats my hope anyway.
Just curious, I know the two are different and I'm not a big fan of analogies, but lets say your at work and your neighbor sees someone breaking in to your house. Would you want them to call the police department?
As far as B goes. How is this the fault of the onboard computer? It seems as though the pilot should not have waited so long to increase the thrust. It seems to me that the pilot put the plane in a no win situation. If the computer would have acted as the pilot had requested the plane would hve went in to a stall and still would have crashed in to the woods.
I didn't think any excryption was perfect. So what happens if they do encrypt the disk and the drive gets stolen. If they don't report it and the encrytion is broken what recourse do those people with compromised information/identities have?
In one of my Criminology classes we talked about the use and misuse of statistics. The example was used that areas with a high stork population have a high human birthrate. Does that mean that storks bring babies?
