if you criminalise demand, all you are doing is spending a lot of time, effort and money into turning a lot of people into criminals. Far better to bring it in out of the cold, ask We, the People what we actually want, and come to a fair compromise.
I would say a good reason to remember is so we never forget. you want people to forget things like the holocaust? funny... thats what the nazis have been trying to do for years. somone once said, if we forget history we are doomed to repeat it.

i dont think thats really base don processor. how are you transfering them? USB? Firewire? if your using USB then yeah of course its goign to take a while. you can get a athlon system barebones for like $700 CAN that will render tonnes faster than your little duron. I myself have dual mp 1600+'s and i can load up about 1000 images in like 10 sec into a preview mode, and it only uses ONE of my cpus. Maybe you shoudl consider buying a dual system. I payed about $1100 CAN for dual mp 1600+, tyan tiger mp, and 512 ECC ddr and that was when they first came out. im sure you can find something cheaper now.
Well i download family guy episodes because they keep pulling it from tv. Also i would say a big reason for me downloading shows is convience. I can never get to a tv when my favourite shows are on. whoes fault is that? i blame society for having a "prime time" mentality. tv studios have to realize that not everyone lives the same life and that people dont want to sit thru hours of crap to get a small amount of entertainment.
if you have a vapourizer use that. your lookign to get the THC but not the tar. Maybe hash would be better but if you have a vapourizer or feel like making one(ie souldering iron and glass jar) they work great at making you feel good even if not better:). the only other thig is time sleep and water. try adn smoke some herb tho.

The difference bewteen athlons and durons is the cache (im not sure how much) and the Front Side Bus, the athlons have 133x2 and the durons have 100x2. this makes a BIG difference. A duron will run ok but a athlon will always be faster. Answer your question?

at the risk of sounding like an ass, it didnt hit us so doesnt that make the scientists right?
well i was a big intel guy for a long time then switched to amd. Intel is more stable. Perhaps because of the fact that intel is in bed with M$ and many hardware manufacturers. also intels are stable because i believe they are better designed for stability. amds are designed for speed. they need to be looked after. when i recomend a system to someone i would tell them that amds are like disfunctional children and intels are like christian school girls. one needs more care to become like the other and one will never have the broad range of preception or in the case of chips power that the other one has. i use Volcano 7's to cool my dual amds and they are stable around 42-50 *c. my old p4 was at 35-45 but it was deffinately slower all around.
as for macs, if you want to have a computer that you can master in a day and cost alot buy a mac. i dont know if this whole mac *nix inititive is worth a reevaluation of my biases on macs.

this is my stance on the leagalization of Marijuana. If i smoke openly and never deny the fact that i smoke, and many others join with me then it cant stay illigal forever.
the challenge is being able to stand up for what you believe in and thats what i think these people are doing.
if everyone is breaking the law one of two things will happen...
1. the government will ignore the deviant behavior because it is in there best interest to make everyone into a criminal for the purposes of control (dont like the politics? oh whats this an 0z of hydro? come with me please).
2. It will be accepted by society and we will all be better off.
since im a pessimist i guess i more believe the possibility of No 1. coming true, but hey we can always hope.
