New info has been leaked/released about new songs. The Setlist so far:

* Anthrax's "Madhouse"
* Mötley Crüe's "Shout at the Devil"
* Reverend Horton Heat's "Psychobilly Freakout"
* KISS' "Strutter"
* Black Sabbath's "War Pigs"
* Butthole Surfers' "Who Was in My Room Last Night?"
* The Kink's "You Really Got Me" as performed by Van Halen
* Rush's "YYZ"
* Primus' "John the Fisherman"
* Drist "Arterial Black"
* Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name Of" (maybe)
* Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine"
* Free Bird by Lynard Skynard
(set list from joystiq.com)
Some of those have only been released in the past few days. For one, I am frickin' pumped
It not a terribly good PIM app, but it isn't bad. A little more work and a few more apps, and it could replace my Zaurus (which has some pretty bad PIM apps as well)
I didn't know there was a wardriving type ap for the DS. I thought DS2Key was for some strange gamepad emulation via wifi. They may have a server browser built in that I don't know about. I did stumble across a program that would do something similar (I really just want netstumblerDS:) called hobito's wifi setup app. Its terribly unfinished right now. Will be nice when it is completed.
That one actually uses the GH miniSG controller via ps2->usb adapter. Its pretty sweet, and theres tons of songs available already. Too bad most of them are wicked hard and I'm average at best.
Have you ever been to digg? Even just viewing their "front page" feed, most of the articles there are pretty much garbage. Oh boy, another article on apple/ajax/web2.0/ubuntu howto/etc. I visit digg because they post MORE news, but more isn't always better.

And I get espn360 through whatever deal is worked out between my ISP and fifa. Damn, I was really looking forward to how "ridiculous" it really is
if you unplug before loading the game, leave it unplugged while playing, the next time you connect your achievements will be uploaded. They're cached on the xbox untill it can sync up with xbl
breezy worked perfectly on my toshiba. Only change i needed to make was supply ndiswrapper the proper driver for my pcmcia wifi card. Other than that, it was all good.
Dark Horizons has a pretty robust fanbase. They even had their own convention last year somewhere in PA. I know the devs are proud of their game and participate in the community a bit. I've also heard good things about bridge constructor set. There also is a demo of Gish, which was a prime example of a solid indie game. I cant really speak for the rest of the collection, but at least some interesting indie titles are making it to retail.
Well, the 600tb number was listed as "data" so I wonder if that includes multiplayer game data as well. I wonder if this also includes the number of times I have to frakking restart downloads on their system
OK, I'll concede. Being on the 360 is quite the steal for Microsoft. For me, this is one of the few franchises that was sony "exclusive" that I missed by having a broken ps2.
As much as I dislike Zonk (and I do), it was strangely worded in the announcement, just enough to make it sound like an exclusive. Everyone took the tattoo to mean totally exclusive, i guess, and ran with it. I'd blame microsoft for making such a big deal out of having GTA4 on their console. However, as a 360 owner, I'm kinda excited, if they actually do something new with gta4.
Even better, if you have the guitar and PS2->USB converter:

Thats of the total 55 songs they said would be in GH2. Keep em comin guys! Personally, I want some more metal! More Pantara, Slayer, etc.

you only got those when someone you knew typed your number into the movie's website. Thats some nice friends you got there.
Oh, then it probably has the same gui as the App I mentioned, since the author created it as a demo for other DS developers to implement and use.
My initial response was going to be: can any of those play the very excelent DS games :)
I love my ds, and I was excited when I got the hardware to do other things (and play some of the pretty good homebrew thats out there)

AFAIK, this isn't the first guitar hero PC clone, though it does look nicer than the one i've been playing:

Good point. good thing i have autoplay disabled and probably would format the thing, not caring to know whos fob it was :)
Thats an amazingly clever idea. "Hey, free stuff" is what I would think. And then plug it into my ubuntu box :)

I also am turning 24 next month... I didn't feel old... before this

try walmart in a rural area on the first saturday of the month. There should be laws against some of that...
Here in Buffalo, we just call them "wings".
That would be Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.
:)
Also, note that taco might have brough that on, saying he wanted submissions to be slashdot-"ish". Thus the tracers

October, 2007 is not this holiday, AFAIK
