    If it doesn't have a number or if they're obviously not the same person, go after the publisher for consent.

    Porn is probably the number one industry in which people radically alter their appearance frequently, if not regularly. Good luck enforcing your idea.

    I do the same with my servers at home. I run a small NSLU2 farm and a handful of other machines and use a jazz oriented naming convention: mingus, satchmo, monk, thelonious... you name it. If nothing else, it helps remind me to keep listening to the greats. :)

    I often find it uncomfortable to use WSAD along with ctrl or shift (for running or crouching or whatever)

    Try ESDF, which I have always found more comfortable than WASD. You don't crowd the ctrl/shift keys and you don't have to reach as far to hit T, G, or B. As an added bonus, if you don't use a split keyboard, you can even reach H, etc.

    someone paid for a forged press release from a big-name company in order to manipulate the stock market.

    That happens all the time. Go to virtually any discussion on finance.google.com or finance.yahoo.com and you will no doubt find a few links to PRNewsWire "releases".

    In some cases, people have managed to get these links mixed in with actual news headlines (such as from Bloomberg or the AP or what have you).

    I have yet to see anything posted on PRNewsWire that isn't pure fluff.

    Same, but I started with his robot series. I still remember the puzzled looks on the faces of my classmates when I was asked to share a word I had learned from the book (Robots of Dawn) and proudly exlaimed "roboticide!".

    I think I spent a minute or two trying to explain what it meant before giving up and realizing at that moment I had taken a very sharp turn in my life.

    Sure thing:

    As reported by the Washington Post, Google co-founder Larry Page claims that an FCC field test of white space wireless devices was 'rigged' to make the test device fail to detect wireless microphone broadcasts. A Google spokesman explained later that testers had hidden the wireless microphones within the same frequency as local television stations, preventing the test device from detecting them.
