I do the same with my servers at home. I run a small NSLU2 farm and a handful of other machines and use a jazz oriented naming convention: mingus, satchmo, monk, thelonious... you name it. If nothing else, it helps remind me to keep listening to the greats.:)
I often find it uncomfortable to use WSAD along with ctrl or shift (for running or crouching or whatever)
Try ESDF, which I have always found more comfortable than WASD. You don't crowd the ctrl/shift keys and you don't have to reach as far to hit T, G, or B. As an added bonus, if you don't use a split keyboard, you can even reach H, etc.

someone paid for a forged press release from a big-name company in order to manipulate the stock market.
That happens all the time. Go to virtually any discussion on finance.google.com or finance.yahoo.com and you will no doubt find a few links to PRNewsWire "releases".
In some cases, people have managed to get these links mixed in with actual news headlines (such as from Bloomberg or the AP or what have you).
I have yet to see anything posted on PRNewsWire that isn't pure fluff.
Bald kid: Do not try and manage UDP connections. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Ted: What truth? Bald kid: There is no connection.
Same, but I started with his robot series. I still remember the puzzled looks on the faces of my classmates when I was asked to share a word I had learned from the book (Robots of Dawn) and proudly exlaimed "roboticide!".
I think I spent a minute or two trying to explain what it meant before giving up and realizing at that moment I had taken a very sharp turn in my life.
A successful con needs only a single lapse in judgment, regardless of the mark's character. Anyone can be a victim, and most everyone is at one point in time or another.

As reported by the Washington Post, Google co-founder Larry Page claims that an FCC field test of white space wireless devices was 'rigged' to make the test device fail to detect wireless microphone broadcasts. A Google spokesman explained later that testers had hidden the wireless microphones within the same frequency as local television stations, preventing the test device from detecting them.
If it doesn't have a number or if they're obviously not the same person, go after the publisher for consent.
Porn is probably the number one industry in which people radically alter their appearance frequently, if not regularly. Good luck enforcing your idea.
We Americans will apologise
You are not American.
Also, send more beer pls ;)
Okay, maybe you are.

As long as they prioritize World of Warcraft over everything else, I'm happy.
Isn't that your job?
If the law-abiding citizens enter somebody else's property with a gun against the owners wishes, I don't want to know what the criminals do.
The same?

Why can't we have more crazy wing of the right stories on Slashdot?
Because you already have Fark.

And not nearly far enough in the late 90s and early 2000s.
I believe this one is clearer for the amputation of an arm:
8-@!-<
Or a Prince Albert gone horribly wrong.
After that you have specialty niche sites like redtube.com and pornhub.com.
This, my friends, is why I love Slashdot. I learn something new every day!

I was with you up until:
fuckheads like yourself willing to part with your hard earned dollars over Liv Tyler's minimal tits
Here's a tip. When you draw a line in the sand, it's usually a good idea to make what's on the other side seem less appealing.

JP Morgan has AIG beat by a long shot. Check out what they did/are doing to Wamu and be amazed.
Thanks for the unecessary condescendation though. Look! Another con word.
Misfortunately, that isn't a word. Perhaps you meaned condescension?
Trick is to make it better wtihout the idiots migrating.
We need our own by-invitation only internet.
Unfortunately, whenever you create an exclusive club and invite everyone but the idiots, you just end up with an exclusive group of idiots.

Single.
If Windows had cronjobs...
Windows Scheduled Tasks might do the trick. If not, you can always install Cygwin, which includes cron as a Windows service.
...or I knew VB
Forget VB. Python is your friend.
Sure thing:

McCain/Diebold - We can't lose!
Even with Diebold on his side, I think McCain could figure out a way.
The problem is not that Bush cut taxes, but that he did not cut them enough.
If by "enough" you mean across the board for all income brackets, I might agree.
