  1. Re:Looking the wrong direction on California Considering More Internet Taxes · · Score: 1

And sadly Ontario is going the same way. While industrial and residential consumers continue to be irresponsible in their use of resources like power, water but whine when the bills go up. And what does the Premier do in election year - cap the price retro-actively. So the utilities have to refund the money plus any taxes collected on them.

  2. Not sure.. on Copyright Rumblings · · Score: 1

Good idea as long as the legal backing doesnt involve screwed up CDs or corrupted e-books n what not which would in effect reduce the value of the content to the consumer. OTOH It would hurt the music companies even more if they persisted with such tactics.
PS can we force any legislation to force them to produce good-quality music and not back-side boys?

What I am curious is why don't North american's prefer trains?
With all the time spent in security checks and what not, for some short distances, a train is far quicker and in most cases will drop you in downtown areas as opposed to the airports. The journey is more comfortable too and sure as hell no one can ram them into buildings.

The fact that you dont have to perform this sequence to finish the game and only a deprived person would want to do this seems lost to the aussie moral police...
