For those of you not using Debian, this would be a good point of reference as well. Once you find the package you want, you can always do a google for it and find a package/source/tgz for your distro of choice.

Ok, everyhting looks pretty good in theory, and I'm sure it does well in application. I assume that with this, as well as most other hybrids, it is probably lacking somewhat in power. I checked the transmission specs, and it appears to be a 2 speed (unless I'm reading that wrong) and also appears to be an automatic. Maybe it's just personal preference and bias, but when I'm driving something that needs to get out of it's own way, I much prefer a stick to control the acceleration a little better (and eliminate the need for the automatic transmission to hesitate while it decides I want power).

Besides that, just for "asthetics", it should be a standard trans. I mean, I haven't driven a bike yet that's been an auto, and I'm sure that if they were that good, they'd be a little more prevalant in the market.

Ok, enough of my ranting. I would definately look into buying one though, if it was a stick.

I'm glad someone saw it as a time when they should take a step back from everyday "grabbing for the cash" and honor those who died, those who sacraficed, and those who where close to them. Seeing as how I was a 911 dispatcher stuck in the middle of all this, and a volunteer firefighter in eastern PA, I can truly appreciate it. I feel for my brothers and sister who lost their lives. I feel for the innocents who died. This has truely led me to believe that there are some people, and busineses, around who care about the world. Let us all, please, observe a moment of silence, again for those who lost their lives durring this tragedy.

But, at the same time, let's not get caught up in the morbid retrospective. Let's remember all the good that's happend in the last year. Personaly, I met my lovely wife. On top of that, I'm proud to annoucnce we're expecting the arrival of our son.

It's been hard for many of us. Let this be a great example of how the american spirit lives though adversity. I live every day knowing that my 'brothers' (and sisters) died in the line of duty. I honor them every day by living my life to the fullest, as I know they would want. I suggest everyone do the same.

That is all I have to say at this time. Be well. Be strong. And bless.
