That's funny, my mom, my sister, and my boss (and I) all seem to use grafitti on our Palm computers just fine. My 4 year old niece uses the popup keyboard though. I'm not making this up.

  3. GBA screen problems on New Gameboy Announced · · Score: 2

The problem with the GBA screen is not so much that it wasn't lit (unless you play in the dark of course) it was that the front window was built like a mirror so your face would be brighter than the screen behind it. I think if they could have reduced the glare the screen would have been much better right off the bat.

It's chronological... the Lost Tales consist of the earliest work written in pencil in the trenches during WW2... by the time you get to the very last C.Tolkien book, you get to the last writing on middle earth including the first (and only) chapter that JRR Tolkien started on a LOTR sequel.

I think a great number of people love to see how Tolkien created his masterpiece(s). He managed to keep all his various drafts on paper and wrote down why he made changes etc. No one is forcing you to read them though.

It has a section of the API called ClanGUI as well as ClanGL and ClanGUI works with ClanGL. However this project is often buggy and incomplete. Might be worth looking at though if you don't mind submitting bug reports (or patches for that matter!). I use ClanLib and ClanGL in a game I'm working on.

There's an "anime" shop near here that sells a bunch of Japanese imported CDs. Pretty cool but you have to wonder why they can import and sell them for only $12 a piece. The booklet printing never seems that good and I'm inclined to believe they are bootlegs. Not CDRs but bootlegs anyway.

I Gotta Get Back To My Roots:

After giving it a lot of thought, I finally decided to get the Nintendo Game Cube. My Super Nintendo did all right by me, so I figured a Super Super Nintendo would probably do even better. Anyway, what the Game Cube lacks in race games it more than makes up for in zombie games. Not only does it have Resident Evil, but there's also Eternal Darkness. I took a hard look at the cash I'd socked away and decided I had enough for a Game Cube plus one game. I got Eternal Darkness because, unlike Resident Evil, you can only get that for the Game Cube. You see, Jim Anchower enjoys the finer things in life, and there's not much finer than a video game that's exclusive to the very system that you happen to own.
