You know, the majority of people I know who claim to NOT be able to afford healthcare are self-employed and would rather spend the money on 3 HD tv's and 2 SUV's. Really hard to feel sorry for these folks. Most of the "poor" I know wouldn't be seen in anything less than designer labels and $100 sneakers. People in brand new SUV's paying for food with Access cards? But they can't afford healthcare? Well, since the housing and food is subsidized, I guess they might as well spend their money on cars, electronics and clothes, right?
Do people fall through the cracks? Yeah, we need to tighten that up. I just don't believe the way to do that is by needless spending on folks who could afford it if they cut back on their own wasteful spending. I don't believe in helping people who won't even try to help themselves.

McDonalds is suing Burger King for bundling BK fries in their combo meals. Claim that in a free market world, consumers should have a choice of McD fries or even Wendy's fries and that bundling proprietary fries should be illegal.
Why not just alert us when it hits 10 million? Am I missing some significance to 9.3 million, other than the Earth-Sol distance? Are we just getting updates every.1 million? Should this number impress me especially? I much prefer to hear when they hit 9.475 million. Wake me up when they hit that.

You could have been a little clearer to someone who does not have intimate knowledge of both systems. You speak of: "The HDDVD addon for the 360 is in a worse boat as that is it's ONLY function" in the original post. I assumed "function" referred to 'playing HDDVD format disks'. Now from your rather hostile and rather condescending explanation, I understand that you were actually speaking about: "The 360 out of the box supports...hrm....right, NO high def media." I was aware of this fact. This I was not questioning. I had assumed that the HDDVD addon for the 360 would support legacy formats as well, and it seemed you were stating that it would only read HDDVD format. Do you know if it does or does not read legacy formats?
I do not own either console, but since I am not planning on adopting HDTV anytime soon(unless one of my tv's dies and costs more than the price of a new HDTV to repair) so to ME, the PS3 Blu-ray would have only one purpose: to play PS3 games. Since I don't need to pay the price for a drive I have no use for, the 360 would make more sense to me. With Sony's record of dropping the ball when it comes to proprietary formats, I think I'll avoid the PS3. If I eventually adopt HDTV, I will step back and reevaluate.

I am confused. What else does the Blu-Ray drive on the PS3 support besides cd's, dvd's and Blu-Ray? Are you saying that the HDDVD addon for the 360 does not support the older formats also? Turbine did thieves extremely well in D&D Online. No pocket picking or stealing, but a lot of dungeons require you to have a great thief in your party to disable traps and pick locks. Their hide/sneak skills can be developed well also. Thieves are not a luxury in that game, and as a result they are highly in demand. Can't do Vault Of Night in House K without a great thief.

You see come face shots, a couple explosions, some running, but no mention of plot, story or direction (I'm not referring to Director direction, but story direction, indirectly.). I don't watch those movies. I won't play those games.

I felt really bad for the people affected by this issue, but the sheer embarrassment of a company having a game so buggy it deleted the Windows's System Folder was hillarious. Its just one reason I like to wait a while before buying most games. Other main reason is that if a game is considered great at a price of 50-60 bucks, its fantastic at 25 bucks!
Where I went to school, a Master's degree in IS was the equivalent of a Bachelor's in CS. I think it works (for the most part) that way on resumees and CV's too. I think that puts it into clear perspective for you.

Oh, this sounds professional. I always trust investigations done in countries where the testers can smoke all the doobs they want. Makes sense to me. "Hey, let me use that disc to roll one Hansel!"
