Oh thank God, you were freaking me out there... I couldn't believe some of the crap you were proposing, particularly the stuff about rape victims marrying their attackers.
The Republicans are a bunch of wankers... I'm a permanent resident in the US and am considering applying for citizenship just to have the right to vote against them.
Are you being sarcastic...? Not American, but I thought one of the strengths of the US constitution is the separation of church and state, freedom to worship, etc. Wouldn't these amendments discriminate against non-Christians?
It's probably more indicative of crappy antennas in those other PCs. My wife uses a work-supplied Compaq POS laptop with our Airport Extreme with no problems, using a Netgear 802.11b card I bought for her. Gets signal strength as good as she gets with her iBook, and better than with my Powerbook G4 17".
The AE works in WDS mode with the 2Wire HomePortal HW1000. This is a wireless router / ADSL modem distributed with SBC Southwestern Bell's Expert Plus DSL package.
Justice moves slowly in Germany. I doubt he spent four months on remand - he was probably released to the custody of his parents. And no, I didn't RTFA.
I have a polite request for you... as an Irish citizen, I find the term "Irish terrorism" highly objectionable. 99% of people in the Republic of Ireland detest the IRA and see them as thugs, gangsters and murderers. The term "Irish terrorism" implies that we're all behind them, that it's a popular movement -- please, if you would, refer to it as "IRA terrorism".
Since French is an official language in Belgium, it's politically correct in the US to dislike all things Belgian. That and the fact that you neither joined the "coalition of the bullied" and insist on speaking your minds. As an Irishman, all I can say is "Three cheers for Belgium!"

Have a good one!

Wife cheat on you? Aiming to establish Turkish-style criminalising of civil issues? Let it go, man. She cheated, she's gone.

Stop gloating you spoiled Swede!!! Just kidding.
Back your rational (yet religion-based, Amit) argument up with facts, then.
Your 'zine is excellent, tiled_rainbows. Well done! You brightened my afternoon on a dull Friday in St. Louis. Well said on Will Self, BTW.
A very decent bloke. His type is sorely missed these days.
Tony Benn is a Labour politician in the UK.

One could say the same about anyone who supports any group involved in conflict, including those who "support our troops".
And they cost so little, you're holding out on her because...? Go on, be nice, I bought one for my better half and she loves the thing!
I must confess, I only skimmed the original article. Mea culpa, my apologies.
Two sides to every story, Bertie. The IRA aren't the only murderers in N.I., they're just the most effective at it.

And you could do exactly the same thing for Sweden. My point is that while it matters, pop. density is not the core of the issue.
MooooOOOO! Yeah, you herd me.

Population density - USA - 30 people per kilometre squared. Sweden - 20 people per kilometre squared. South Korea - 291 people per kilometre squared.
SBC SW Bell in St. Louis offers 6Mb down, 512k up for $45/month. It's awesome.
Sweden population - ~8 million. Korea population - ~50 million. USA population - ~290 million. What was your point again?
No. And your sig makes no sense. That should be Karmacy, not Karmaceutical.
With Java 1.5 and the introduction of generics (typed collections) this goes away.
