But both are 100% DX9 compliant. If a game is written with DX9 in mind, it will look identical with both cards (not counting such things as filters on the card and such. Those have usually been better on ATI cards than on NVIDIA, with Matrox being the best). There are some features in NV30 that go beyond DX9 specs, but in practise they don't make any difference when it comes it the image-quality

Hmm, nice rhetoric :) The issue isn't that Apple can choose KHTML, it's more a case of why.

it is? How can it be when the Safari-developers clearly stated that the reason they chose KHTML is because (and I quote):

The number one goal for developing Safari was to create the fastest web browser on Mac OS X. When we were evaluating technologies over a year ago, KHTML and KJS stood out. Not only were they the basis of an excellent modern and standards compliant web browser, they were also less than 140,000 lines of code. The size of your code and ease of development within that code made it a better choice for us than other open source projects. Your clean design was also a plus. And the small size of your code is a significant reason for our winning startup performance as you can see reflected in the data at http://www.apple.com/safari/.

So there really is no question of "why?", since the answer is right in front of your eyes (that is, if you bothered to look)!

    D) Did not use spam advertising "hot & horny sluts" to adds where the reader might be just a kid
    E) if they placed an "ADV:" tag in front on front of the subject-line

Sounds awfully strange to me if Chrysler is the company calling the shots.

Sorry, I don't buy that. Hardware has improved trendemously. Speed and capacity of hard-drives has shot through the roof. CPU's are order of magnitude faster. Vid-cards can do stuff we could only dream of few years ago. They have done all that, and the prices have come crashing down. Only exception is Windows. Sure it has more functionality than DOS had, but your CPU has alot more functionality (in it's case: performance) than Pentium 60 had, yet it's alot cheaper. So why is it that all other components in your computer has both increased their capabilities and reduced their price, but Windows has not? Could it be because Windows is the only product of a monopoly in your PC?
