I think we *are* talking about a big counterweight. The gravity from this thing's mass is what's going to be attracting the asteroid, and the bigger this thing is, the easier job it'll have moving the asteroid.
Maybe he didn't quite make it clear, but the GCN ports are on the base unit, not the controller. There's *no* extra battery drain for using them. They're right next to the GCN Memory card slots.
I've already trained myself on a keyboard that's had its keycaps switched, but I don't have any trouble at all using Dvorak on a QWERTY-layout keyboard like my powerbook.
Also, it *is* possible to switch the keys on a powerbook keyboard. You have to be kinda careful, but they do pry right off.
And there's a company called Fingerworks that makes a touchpad keyboard that can come in Dvorak.
The problem with a boycott is that its losses could easily be considered as due to piracy. So, if you're going to boycott, figure out some way to make it *absolutely clear* that you're doing so.
The other bands weren't really all that good. Mostly that really heavy kind of metalcore full of growling voices and D-tuning. If they're DT fans, they might not want to stay for those. If you can, you might want to find out the schedule and show up later, as SyX and DT were later in the show.
And yes, the DT set was one of their shorter, approx 1 hr. 30 min. ones, because of all the other bands. Fitting 7 bands into even 7 hours doesn't leave much time for all. The bands on the second stage (Bobaflex, Dry Kill Logic, Life of Agony, and Symphony X) will generally have shorter sets; some would even go sub-1-hour.
Umm.. I'm not entirely sure if you made it clear if you know about this or not, but expose can use the keyboard. You can use the arrow keys to select the window, and you can use the ` and tab keys to select the application (both in all-windows and app-windows mode)
I just about never use qwerty, but when I do, it usually takes a few minutes for me to readjust. I have to look at the keyboard a bit, but after a while I start typing pretty fast with few mistakes. In fact, I started writing this post in dvorak, then finished it in qwerty.

I don't think the EULA mentioned anything about a potentially dangerous rootkit. And I'm not sure about it mentioning phoning home either.
That would be the nintendo on hoax mentioned earlier in this thread. I don't have a link handy, but google should help.
A theory can predict. A theory has rules and models. A theory has mountains of evidence pointing towards its validity.
Evolution fits all these parameters. ID fits none.
..don't you mean...

Shinichiro Watanabe made Outlaw Star?
Try writing upside down? It'll allow the writing to flow away from your hand, and should help things.
It actually looks like it's curved symmetrically to me, and can still be held in either hand equally.

Try a game known as PuzzLoop (Japan) or Ballistic (US). Zuma's practically a clone of it.

Well, the last system's games came on GODs...
That SSH hack in the Matrix seemed to go over pretty well..
I'm guessing that first anon. coward in this thread is the exception?
..but how did the other guys do?
If this is comparable or better to the other guys' performance...

Kickass!! I saw Gigantour on the 26th, and they were fantastic.
If you haven't heard them yet, I suggest you get *really* close for the Symphony X show too. They were excellent.
Well, John Petrucci did do the score a Pinball videogame called "Necronomicon"...
There's always a Soyuz capsule docked with the ISS, so even if there aren't any shuttles, they can escape out.
Black-and-white and done entirely in pencil?
