I have dry eyes. They feel tired and sore from time to time and I have to/should take eye drops. I consulted an eye specialist because of it a few months ago. My vision isn't the best either. I'm 25 with several years of computer and monitor work.
I attended a meeting of the local Hannover Linux User Group a few years ago. It was disappointing. A group of unmotivated academics/geeks with no real drive to do something. Same for the Unix Group at my University.
Notepad++ has no real documentation and I couldn't get a simple regexp search/replace job done with it.
I downloaded a version of UltraEdit and my regexp worked out of the box. Ah well, I could have used Perl for that linewrap problem too (I had to mangle a large textfile into a format that could be pasted into Excel). Ah well.
Usually I'm an NEdit guy.

Or they don't have the schooling, degrees and certifications for getting a top-notch IT job.
I don't care about protocols and open-source-ness if the product a) works like a charm, b) has a Linux client available which doesn't suck or crash, c) provides a fair-priced VoIPtelephone service.
the russian space agency said that returning the astronauts with soyuz capsules isn't possible.
a soyuz capsule has only space for three astronauts and each one needs a custom-made bucket seat. the russians even mentioned that the astronauts are not properly trained and fit enough for a parachute landing in a soyuz.
A good DSLR (like a Canon 20D) with a high-quality lens can take night pictures without needing a flash:

With a tripod I was able to make those images with a Canon Digital IXUS 55:

high ISO noise though. The ISO 400 mode of that camera is very grainy.

somehow I come to think that regular schools are not the right place to be if you are a young genius.
I wonder how many talented people are made average by todays school systems.

IRC has much more value for me.
For your own safety you should leave out the 'Fuck you' part.

Your Mom Selects Linux for Missile Defense
while visiting a friend I noticed a 'Designed for Windows XP' sticker at the :)
toilet flusher button. I couldn't think of a better place
True. but that doesn't make me use Windows. I have my principles.
wireless is a pain. especially with WPA encryption under linux. it is a gamble to get the
card, driver and wpa_supplicant setup to work right.
It's a bit unclear to me whether this type of wireless service is meant for cell phones or WLAN (802.11x) devices?
I thought about this too. The problem is: you don't own the passport. you are damaging a federal document.
I have to renew my passport too, but I don't want to get into trouble by damaging it. Especially not
at the US border.

Great product. Almost perfect. I even carried my laptop in it, but the fabric/cushion on the bottom of the backpack is a bit thin.
The IMAP support in Opera could be better.
I prefer single apps for specialized tasks such as IRC chatting (like xchat). All-in-one might be nice for some people though...
the IE is the platform. the IE is highly integrated into windows.

of course, the ink will be the most expensive type of fluid with built-in DRM!
