    If only I could have skipped my senior year. By the time I was a junior I could tell you the two tracks that I wanted to go Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science. More likely I would have taken the same class I did in community college. In fact I don't think that any thing would be bad except I would have hit the job market a little earlier when they where really paying money and I wouldn't be in the slump that I am in now. I hope this comes to every state so my kids can make it on being a good test taker like there dear old dad. :)

    thats not true. I am sure that there are plenty of slashdotters out there that have one , two, maybe even three $600 computers. its not the price of the computer but what your using it for.

    So what they are saying is that the problem the whole time with quantem mechanics has been a lack of lighting. Maybe that we help them observ the direction of a particle and know where it is.

    Google has money to fight back. They have lawyers. They have a fighting chance. College students who barely have any extra money for pizza don't have money for a lawyer. Plus they will be in and out of cort for years. If they win he looses more because he paid a lawyer and they would want even more money. If he one they could so if it happens again. and keep on sueing. The RIAA is one step closer to racketeering.

    I thought that the items from last year where better. ALthough I still think that they should let you put these items on your wish list. I know I can't buy them, since they aren't real, but I wish I could have a Desktop Zero-Point Infinite Power Generator or the George Foreman USB iGrill.

    The ends do not justify the means. I know a way to stop all hate, poverty, and hunger. Its reall easy all you have to do is, kill them all. Thats the means to do it. even though what you they want to stop on the internet gets done doesn't mean the way that they want to do is correct.

    What s the deal with light only going in one direction. I thought that displays where supposed to beam light in multple directions so that you could see it from different angles. I don't see how not haveing an active matrix screen is an advantage of this technology.

    Corporations will try to screw you no matter what happens. Labor unions Exsits to make it so that easier for employees to negotate contracts, improve work situations, and get higher wages.
    Unions make sense for the most part autoworks truck drivers school teachers. these are groups that need repesentation and have very little power, (they are easy to replace).
    Millionars shouldn't have unions like the MLB players union is stupid.

    As for the MOB the mob exsits to make money any way possible. If the mob could make money easly by running down the street naked they would. and they would have their budies do and their employees do it to increase their profit. The mob is a group of buisness men they just take it a bit more searously then the rest of the world.

    If this could be used correctly with a narrow enought beam this could be the Ultimate Wifi fire wall put these lights all around your building pointing outwrard and no one can send signal into your building to snoop on your network. but they would have to figure out how to limit their effectivness so that you don't block the next buildings network.

    Most Isp give out a web browser and a mail tool this is the minimum.

    They should deffently know how to install and configure every version of windows dail up networking, I know that every one is a linux fan but try teaching that to some one makeing $8-16 an hour.

    I personaly feel that all an ISP is responsiblle for is getting you dailed up and conected to the internet so they support their mail client their choice of browser and know how to get you conected and that is it

    Its not about the software, which is implied in the /. version. Its about 186 people caught cheating. 186 students who will proably be going to community college next semester.

    The worst thing is that they did it in to the easiest classes in a computer sceince program, I got an A with skipping most classes when I went to school.

    yes but I can use my computer and recharge it I can't, with what is currently availble, refuel my car and drive I have to stop turn it off and not smoke.

    My only question How do you refill it if a fuel cell is sposed to get smaller and smaller how do you refill a fuell cell. Or are they thinking that I will through mine away and then I woul buy a new one, "for the same price as a lithuim battery" I don't think so. the nice thing about regular battries is that they recharge and they tell you how they do that.

    I had to read through all of this crap and finally I find some one who understand what a phone is for. If I wanted to see the person that would be fine but if the people on the other phone got to see what you look like or what obsecne gestures you give them because your talking on the phone. I don't think so.

    I just want a better receiption able to get my voice messages, and calls quickly and better sounding

    466k sounds like enough damn bandwith to give me a call that sounds better then a lan line
