    If you didn't like Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Electronic Arts has released the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault demo (133 megs) which is another game that uses id Software's state of the art quake 3 engine.

    Didn't quake3 come out in 1999? That doesn't sound too state of the art to me.

    I dunno about most of you, but I can live with a fan or two in my pc.

    When computers were new, it took huge air conditioning systems just to keep the systems from breaking down. Just the maintenance costs were staggering. Nowadays, all we need is a little fan to keep the cpu cool.

    Lets not take things like this for granted!

    Computer advances are nothing compared to the human advances western society have made in the last 100 years.

    100 years ago, most women wouldn't vote or work regular jobs. 50 years ago, our society was still very racist. 25 years ago, homosexuality was considered a desease.

    It's not just in the area of computers have we made giant leaps forward, and many people take their own freedom of lifestyle for granted.

    -Problems speaking english properly

    -round deformed monkey-like skulls

    -being pathetically stupid

    people with down syndrome are often found:

    -blindly roaming the streets

    -working at mcdonalds

    -walking around in pants that do not properly fit them, possibly wearing pants that are 10 sizes too large

    Therefore you can conclude that most black males have down syndrome.

    The short answer: yes. It is very difficult to make money with open source in this day and age. You can't easily market 'free software' and still make a profit. Just look at VA software (formally VA Linux), after several quarters in the red they were forced to shift away their foccus from selling linux oriented software. They even dropped 'linux' out of their name. Although linux is saving alot of companies tons of money, the only company that has had reasonable succes selling linux software has been redhat.

    you should move to Canada, where piracy is not so bad. Since we pay an 'anti-piracy' tax on every cd-r burner and media we buy, it gives us the right to pirate whatever we want. I mean, we can't opt out of the anti-piracy tax, so one might as well take advantage of it.
