Maybe people would say there is a large difference between WoW, EQII and CoH. You might disagree.
As for new game play, there are people tying things. I LOVE the natural-selection mod. The graphics arent the best and there are a few gameplay issues but it is trying to be a FPS/RTS. There must be other attempts at this but I havent heard of them. Just like I am sure many havent heard of NS - it is small by many standards.

I was pretending what would happen AFTER the appeals fail. Going through the legal channels first is the best course but when all that fails?
I was also assuming that it wouldn't be from a "mean" or greedy place just from a practical place: they would stop working in France because of money. Complying with the law might simply cost google too much money. (pretend they had to stop adwords all together?) France could end up causing google to leave for business reasons alone.

Search isn't like a phone line, the cost of switching to another service is small. And as we have seen recently here on/., other companies are trying to improve their search all the time (msn,yahoo) so it isnt like MS where they have 90%+ of the market and switching is going to be a huge cost to the end user. It is more like where you get your gas from,a simple choice.

I have done a quick search for small svga projectors and can't find any. Most I found seem to be three times the weight and price. They maybe out there (i only spent 5 minutes) but they arent making much noise. As far as I am concerned what i just read was more along these lines:
"portable projectors are coming very soon. In 5 years expect them to be half the size and a third the cost. They might even do in a pinch to replace a regular monitor."
I mean, i dont have the cash to by this but knowing that something like this is going to be mass marketed really soon IS news in and of itself. It might be an ad but one does not preclude the other.
There is much flawed logic in your post and some very valid logic too,but talking about what we agree on isn't interesting.:) Most of it has to do with scale, the likely impact on people,the net,companies,etc. Also, it is very easy to insert pejorative terms like vigilaneism and terrorism however it doesnt help you arguments logic.

Or to put it differently: if your marriage cant handle one person telling you it is going to fail, guess what: it is going fail anyways.
