    Registering misspellings of popular sites seems to be an easy way of getting traffic.

    If you design a retaliation plan that just cansels out the benefits of spam. Then joe-job'ing someone whould also have no effect(since the "fake" spam benefits them the same amount as it hurts them). Now both "fake" and "sincere" spam is both useless.

    The difficult part is designing the perfectly balanced retaliation sceme.

    It seem trivial to implement P2P radio. If you send out just 2 streams, and every listener resends the stream to just 2 guys, you can reach 2046 listeners with just 10 hops.

    I'm sure subsonic bullets are fine and all, but i don't they designed the psg-90 to have a 1400m/s muzzle velocity because they where struggling for pessimal performance. They even chose a sabot, sacrificing accuracy, just to get more velocity.

    Likewise, try supporting the P2P/car manufacturing analogy again when the majority of crimes committed with the car actually causes financial losses similar to copyright infringements...
