I know you can setup asterix virtual PBX to have an automated system that makes callers answer some type of prompt to get your phone to ring. I don't think it will work on smartphones, but there must be some sort of thing that can do this.
That way anyone you know who calls you gets through automatically based on their phone number, anyone else will have to use touch tones to answer a basic question (like picking your name out of a 1-9 numbered list) or do some very easy math.
I used to as well. I found a scooter with tires meant for a mini dirt bike worked very well. Scooters are preferred since they are lighter, lower center of gravity, thicker front tire, no gears, and better wind protection. I've got a dual sport too, but keep that just for the summer now. Handle bar heaters, muffs, and an apron/skirt make a big difference. Side skids/skis like some military winter motorcycles have would be nice.
I do, even in the snow, especially the snow actually. I find it takes less time for me to bike to work than to clear the snow off my car in the morning. When I got my job, I went online to look for a place to rent, I put my work's postal (zip) code into craigslist and sorted results for the closest. Bicycle ride is all of 10 minutes. I used to have an hour long commute, it was terrible, what a waste of my life. I'll take a tiny apt over a nice house rather than ever do that again. In the winter, my ride is all in the dark, so I have blindingly bright lights on my bike, no way someone won't see me. About 1/4 of my ride is on a bicycle path, so I get to see lots of nature, rabbits every day, and there is a homeless camp that provides some entertainment as well. That little bit of exercise in the morning wakes me up and leaves me feeling great coming in to work.
Seems like it was the same as hangouts, gplus, and maybe a few other names.
Google's problem, as I see it, is that I would never trust them to keep something going. They have a reasonable successful product, but feel the need to warp it into something else or just plain kill it off. Why take the risk switching to something you know will likely get killed off in a few years, forcing you to switch again?
Problem is that the cheap ones don't last nearly their stated life. Even the expensive ones won't last in some fixtures that are more enclosed. Those are also the 60W ones that just are not that bright, the 100W equivalents tend to cost 3-4 times as much as the 60W.
As for price, you can get a 4 pack of 100W incandescents at most any dollar stare.
Way back in the day, they came out with the Barbie Digital Camera. It was the cheapest digital camera on the market by far. Many people who had no interest in Barbie bought them. It was $79 when most cameras were $300+, they got the price down by, among other things, using damaged DRAM chips.
The concern with those is that the liquid can be used to make an explosive (acetone peroxide), but that is only explosive when dried out. Ironically, you can actually bring a large amount of one of the main ingredients on board (hydrogen peroxide) if you have a doctors note.
Something they don't seem concerned about is gun cotton. It looks, feels, and smells exactly like cotton, but goes boom. You might look suspicious bringing a bale of cotton in your carry-on, but you could treat jeans and t-shirts into it. Then, you have a bag packed full of explosives, that looks like clothes even under close examination.
I think they were more concerned about people smuggling drugs dissolved in water, terrorism is, as ever, a convenient excuse.
It's hard to say, revenue jumps around a lot, and is not all that dependant on views, I'd have to stick it in a spreadsheet to figure out if there is a higher/lower average or not.
From the twitter posts in the linked article, it seems this started on the 5th. My most recent ad revenue data from YouTube is for that day, I made $11.68, normally I make $5-$8 per day. I've been seeing some spikes recently, but I assumed that was from heavy back to school advertising, maybe it could have been from this.
Any other tubers out there notice something like this?
Personally, I'd rather die then spend a few years in solitary at ADX Florence. It's basically non-physical torture and you can expect to be insane at the end of it.
Notice how the 5dMKII pics are zoomed out? That is because it is a full size sensor. Due to sensor crop, the image produced by the other two cameras gets zoomed in by a factor of 1.6 or so. Naturally, you can see more detail if it is zoomed in. Also, the reviewer is talking about having issues with camera shake while on a tripod, has he not ever heard of a remote shutter release?
It is interesting to wonder how much process size vs. pixel density effects sensor noise, and Samsung certainly has some nice fab facilities.
Still this reviewer seems like an idiot or a paid shill. I’ll wait for something from DPReview.
Tim Hunken's The Secret Life of Machine's series did a great job of illustrating the history of refrigeration, from the ancient Roman times to a detailed look at how modern refrigerators work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
It would be nice if this can be protested by making a list available of these BT, and all popular exchanges chooseing not to accept them. At the very least, it would devalue them.
I suspect it would be much more then 15%: Speak to any cabbie, they make the vast amount of their money on Friday/Saturday night, but work the rest of the week because the licence owner requires that. If random joe with a car that he uses for other purposes decides to make some extra money on the weekend, I suspect he will be able to charge much less.
You would think MADD would support deregulation of the taxi industry. Afterall, a big reason people drink and drive is because of the high cost of cabs. It's almost as if they care more about keeping people from drinking them keeping them safe...

Been since I was in middle school, I'm almost 40 now.

If riding a bicycle gets you all sweaty, maybe you're not in very good shape. Perhaps you should get some exercise by... riding a bicycle.
I only sweat in the summer when I'm really riding hard.

Well Olga, your shitty joke will now be an example of the Streisand effect.
It is also possibly an example of viral marketing.

I don't see crop factor mentioned anywhere in the title, interesting stuff about sensor noise though.

Seems like a firefox extention would be a good way to solve this.

Why not give the people the choice? If über is so bad, peopel won't use it.
I'd much rather spend a bit more time in traffic then spend a bunch more money.
