Really? I haven't had any random pop-ups from Kazaa lite. I've also found that it is faster and connects better than the manually-castrated Grokster that I had before.
Maybe so but how often do you visit the Kazaa-lite webpage when you up and download files over the service?
It's better to get a few popups when you download the thing than to get a lot over the hours that you leave it on to download DivX mov^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H independantly-produced media.
I don't think it's so much sexually explicit content as potentially dangerous borderline-illegal content. It makes sense for your school to block it, just as it would to block instructions on how to make pipe bombs from common materials found around one's school.
I don't see what else he could mean. But yes, I've noticed that if the current trend of girls liking less trashy pop continues, 'NSync will be saying "Bye bye bye" to their money, and Britney Spears will be forced to make the porn industry Stronger than Yesterday to earn a living.
Who needs that much texture memory in a football? Honestly, I'd much prefer if they'd work on their games rather than texturing footballs for maximum hardware-zealot enjoyment.
I hope the Oddworld guys decide to re-qrite Munch's Odd. for PS2, I wanted to play it badly, but I refuse to buy an X-Box.
Don't play it on the XBox. I was really looking forward to Munch's Oddyssey up until they had the in-store demo of it. The thing plays like a brick on ice, and the graphics are hardly better than a first-gen Dreamcast title (Soul Calibur notwithstanding, that looking better than many current anything titles)
He did. Later in the article, he mentions "Once again, Computer Surplus Outlet came to the rescue. I went down there and walked out with several old pieces of mounting hardware, for free. W00T!"
Recording is in violation of the DMCA and by recording their copyrighted advertisements, you're a thief and a terrorist.
I've also never come across a "professional pirate."
Nope, no eyepatch-wearing sailor has ever plundered my ship, waved a sword at me, and told me to walk the plank.
Apparently, the BSA links those to ogranised crime, though.

In the same way that Unreal Tournament is different from Half-Life, or actually different?
I don't think it would be possible for society to suffer a blow like that. What would become of the phrase "dirt common?"

The point of this is to make it easier for us lazy-ass bastards who don't want to fiddle with our registry manually.
Well, if you had bothered keeping up with P2P at all, you would see that:
a) Morhpeus was Kazaa, now is Gnutella
b) Gnutella sucks ass
c) WinMX isn't quite as good as Kazaa
and
d) Kazaa-lite is specifically spyware-free.

Well, the next one could be Diamantium, and after that, Nut-Log!
(No, not quite metals, but they are really strong substances)
Because Geocities sure doesn't place bandwidth-per-hour and outside linking restrictions on stuff.

(The bad jokes just don't stop, hoooooooo)

Lose 30 pounds!
Don't eat so much spam.

Some might say that the original meaning of "hack" is "chop with an axe," making the MIT meaning a bastardisation of that term.
There are ways, but EQ's main selling point is that it's a non-narcotic alternative.
My MSIE asks me everytime I enter a new login/password to a site whether I want it to remember. If I don't, I can say "No" and it will forget it.

Or Bonzai Buddy as in a monkey in a small glass jar.
They give their albums away for free, and other people burn them and make their own mixes, or "distributiojns" of their CDs.
Wouldn't that work better with CowboyNeal?
I said `Step pause turn pause pivot step step' not `Step pause turn pause pivot step pause'! Oh, shudder!
Lisa: But seven goes into twenty-eight four times.
Mathemagician: Uh, this is a -magic- seven!
Doesn't Getright do this already?
And with filesharing, Kazaa/Grokster?
