Now you don't have to worry about seeing that site. This trick is also good for blocking ads (127.0.0.1 ads.doubleclick.net) or a simple form of filter software for kids since most of them have no idea how it works.
This link works. The problem seems to be between accessing the domain name, and getting to that link I posted. I opened up the link you gave in N4.76, opened up the web page, then copied the URL in the address field into N6, and it worked just fine.
I was wondering about that too when I heard it went to Gore. I've been keeping track on it all night (especially since I live in Florida) and Bush has always held the lead, and at the moment he is leading by 4% with 75% of votes reporting.
As of 9:15 PM Eastern time, according to the ABCNews website, with 35% reporting in Florida, Bush is leading 51% to 47%. I too wonder how they can predict that Gore wins the state already. Of course, I'm in denial over the whole thing, as I want Bush to win : )
Damn, how often does this need to be repeated on Slashdot. The DC does not run on Windows CE!!!!!!!!!!!!! The default OS for the DC is some Sega OS. WinCE is only offered as an option for developers to program in, and it is included on the game disc itself. So if you hate Microsoft, just don't buy any WinCE games. The console itself is fine.
I can't recall the number of times I see someone getting something interesting from me, but when I try to check their list, they are sharing nothing (this continues to be true even after Napster recent fixes).
It's easy if you are using a Napster clone such as Gnapster I just set my upload directory to some non-existant directory, and boom, no more sharing.
I agree. I've been VERY happy with my DC that I bought over a year ago. They have some of the neatest and most offbeat games for it, like Chu Chu Rocket, Space Channel 5, and the upcoming Jet Set Radio and Samba De Amigo. And yes, Seaman is really offbeat too. I think the DC is definity the best console out right now, and I have no interest at all in buying a PS2 right now.
Mandrakeforum.com already had a story explaining it. As someone noted above, this data is pretty old, and Mandrake has some data from July that gives Mandrake the lead with 31.5%.
We're going after an 18-year-old guy away at college for the first time. That's who the Xbox customer is going to be
That's sorta funny, considering I'm a senior in high school this year, and the console I'm most looking forward to is the Gamecube. Nintendo has traditionally done well with every type of consumer, not just the 6-12 year olds.
Those aren't results, those are ads! Read their advertising guidelines and you'll see how they are making money with ads right now. And frankly, I like the way they do that since I"m more likely to click on a music ad if I'm trying to find a place to buy CD's online.
For some stupid reason when you do that trick with Mozilla, Mozilla complains about not being able to find the adserver. No other browser does it, just Mozilla. Luckly in Mozilla you have a "Block Image from Loading" thing so it's not all that bad.
You're getting ripped off if you pay over $60 for any game at any time. I've NEVER paid over $60 for ANY N64 game. It pays to shop around instead of automatically buying it at EB.
Secondly, part of the reason game prices were so high is that Nintendo charged quite a bit of money to use their carts. However from what I've heard NIntendo is not doing that with their DVD format, so the cost of a NGC game should be about 10-20 dollars lower than an N64 game. But time will tell.
Most American's still dial up at 56K, so it wouldn't be cost effective to include an ethernet card if hardly no one used it. Plus, the kinds of people who usually use an IPaq kind of device usually connect at 56K because they don't know better.
However I do feel your pain. I have a cable modem, and I'm still waiting for an ethernet adapter to come out for the Dreamcast. Such is the hassles of being on the bleeding edge.
There's been rumors of a Metroid game for the N64 and now the Dolphin for a couple of years now. I guess we can only hope that Nintendo hears the American gamers pleas for it and release it in America.

I think you have to make sure the psm directory where you installed N6 is writable by the user.
Yep, there is no LDAP in N6. ZDnet had an article about it the other day, you might want to search there for some more info on it.

It's especially funny now because at the moment, Bush is winning by 8% with 24% of votes reporting.
California Votes

The N64 launched at $200.
as far as Joe UPN Watcher is concerned, it's just another computer with a quasi-futuristic interface.
By Jove, I think someone has figured it out.

And Slashdot has already covered it.
Hey, I'm considering going to Cornell. How do you like it? If you would email me I'd greatly appriciate it.

Because most people are too stupid to know how to use IRC.

Yes, it does come in 5 colors! 5 controllers and 5 systems

SpaceworldLive.com also has continous updates from many different sources. Like for instance this movie of the Gamecube presentation.
I plan to laugh my ass off if IGN got it wrong. However they probally got it right.
