I remember around 5 years ago the only people who had a cell phone (or in Australia we call them mobile phones) were rich.

Nowadays I see kids who are 7 years old with the latest mobile phones.

It's all about prepaid, they just allow kids to manage there funds abit better.

Anyway in the future we will still have mobiles but the Net will be a standard on them, WAP is slowly getting more advanced.

I would like to thanks Square for doing this, they are giving everyone an extra view on the Matrixuniverse.

The trailer looks awesome and by the looks of it it seems that the CG rendered world is the reality, and the Anime world is the Matrix or "Animatrix".

Very interesting and I can't wait till it's released.

  9. Thankyou Nintendo. on Nintendo Ressurecting Classic NES Games to the GBA · · Score: 3, Insightful

At least one gaming company supports classic gaming.

While Sony and Microsoft are trying to battle against each other with their powerful graphics, Nintendo are making games that are targeted for their fans.

Super Smash Brothers catered for all Nintendo fans and so are upcoming Metroid Prime and Mario Sunshine (which seems to be more gameplay focused then graphic focused).

And now this... I applaud Nintendo for making such a good choice of not letting the past die.

Ok well I don't need the dole or any support from the government as I work but when around $3 an hour of my hard earned money goes towards tax then anyone would get annoyed.

That works out to be around $100 a week being "donated" unwillingly towards the government and I only get a little of that back on Tax return.

    Our governemnt sucks.. realise that.

Sure I agree but how about when the older generation is the public and you are working and when you try to help them out they ask to speak to someone else? Or that person just keeps nodding to everything you say like he/she doesn't believe a word you are saying? What are you supposed to do then? It has happened to me before.. thats a fact of life, some older people just think that if you are young you don't know nothing.

Oh yeah I know... I'm not talking about correcting the boss as that's a big No-No but what I mean is that if you show them how good you are by, for example, if you work at a computer retail shop try to talk to customers and help them out giving them advice on whats the best product and also making sure your boss is listening as he will not only be impressed but he will see that you are doing a good job.

  23. Yeah this is a big problem on Handling Discrimination in the IT Workplace? · · Score: 2, Interesting

I always have this and I am the same age as you, Well I turn 20 mid December next year but anyway... I found that if you confront them and show them how much you know and how confident you are at your job then they will learn to respect your level of knowledge. Remember in the business world it all comes down to trying to run a succesful company and if they feel that your age will interupt this trend then that's why they might get offended.

I don't see a problem if you are doing your job and as you said your direct boss doesn't have a problem with you.

I am currently still studying at college but I always do jobs fixing computers on my time off and when the people see me (I look young) they get offended a bit until I show them how confident I am with what I do and then they change there mind.

The Older generation feel that they are more advanced with computers and forget to realise that alot of kids are growing up with computers too.

The guy in America does the graphics while my friend makes the templates and programming, the business is going pretty well as well.

It goes to show you that without P2P software we wouldn't have as many online businesses.
