    blagh

you'll also see the train man from "enter the matrix' game punching neo to the wall. i thought he was a neutral guy from the short clip in the game.

strangly the other guy (as shown in reloaded captured in the merovingeon's restaurant), a woman, and a little girl just looking upon.

that's supossedly the place he's trapped between the human's world and machine's world? interesting to see because how is the train man supposedly to be able to communicate with niobe and ghost in the game when he's also able to be with neo in revolutions? the train man's able to move in and out of the strange world and the matrix?

oh yeah... i think the guy flying past the 'loop' train is the train guy...

starting to remind me of the 'minus' worlds in super mario bros hehe

the first one seemed to be a better movie maily because it shows the making of a hero... the hero's journey... how he gets better, strong, and faster. we became fans of the movie partly because we also believe that the power of the mind is really the strongest strengh of us.

i still liked reloaded, but it doesnt have that journey feeling - mostly because the reloaded and revolutions were shot as one movie and chopped into 2 bits. so the fighting/highway scenes look a higher percentage of the film.

most of all, i just miss that dark, goth, death, feeling that the first film gave me. remember the first film's supposed to be about birth, (2nd one about life, 3rd about death)...

    anyway...

i used to believe the matrix within a matrix theory. but i dont really think it's the case now. i think it's just as simple as NEO finally understanding his purpose of what he's supposed to do and therefore being able to do what he's doing. whether or not it's a matrix within a matrix isnt really the point. i think it's understanding ones purpose that gives one its powers. his purpose is to save the humans of zion, and understanding that and feeling that gives him the powers.

hope i'm making sense... i'm having problems explaining it. it's not my puspose to post on slashdot :D

i totally agree. the good thing about this trailer is that it doesnt really give anything significant away - but does make us predict what's going to happen - which can be a good and a bad thing.

i think if we stay away from 'the making of' stuff on TV - we should be fine.

but seriously, the highway scene in my opinion wasnt as good as hyped in all the promos they've been doing. it may have been interesting that they built their own freeway, and was tough to shoot because the chorealgraph (spelling?) was challenging and dangerous, but didnt really have that "UMPH" jaw popping eye-candy wow effect. it could have been the camera angles... but what can i say..

after all these years that the sky's been blackened by the humans - remember there were already 6 iterations the matrix has been recontructed, the machines should have cleared it up by this this time.

it looks like neo and trinity have went through the surface - probably on their way to 01 - the machine megacity that was mentioned in the second renaissence 1 and 2.

in the trailer you hear "SPEAK" - where neo speaks on this platform... that's the 'leader' supposedly in 01.

that's one drawback of the installation. another drawback is that if you want different partitions for, let's say for example, /var, /usr, /, the installer doesnt support that and you have to play around with files and move them, and edit the mappings in /etc/fstab.

another bug with the HD install is that lilo doesnt write to the MBR properly and (i dual boot win2k).
