Only a band as successful as Metallica (IIRC, they're closing in on only having the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin ahead of them on the list of best-selling groups in history...
HSBC works fine with Opera for Linux, 6 and 7 (at least). Doesn't require JS or popups turned on, renders nicely... they have decent tech support too (responsive, anyway). I don't have any complaints.
That's how I see it. It's like, you know when you're on a level with Kakaru, and you cast either Mind Control or Parasite on all of them you can find? And then they fly around and scout out the map for you and you can just pay attention to the choke points without having to build a bunch of Observers or whatever? Seems to work pretty well.
heh. I'll see your Ann Coulter and raise you a Noam Chomsky and a Michael Moore! I guess if both sides complain about your paper, you're doing alright. And having lived all over, I would agree the coasts are generally liberal. The important parts, anyway.:-P
Christ. Trust a geek to come up with a plan for bolting a helium-filled DVD-playing box to the ceiling to avoid the ELEVEN DOLLARS a brand-new DVD costs. Or are we doing this because we can? Slashdot makes me laugh sometimes.
SCO said that after they're done with IBM, they'll sue SuSE and Redhat
I love reading that. It's funny every time. Like when the JW's come to your door, and say "The meek shall inherit the Earth," and you laugh demonically and growl "Yeah, what's left of it!"
How is typing/Sy[tab]C[tab]if[tab] any worse than typing/s[tab]if[tab]? Couple characters longer, maybe, but who types the full pathname anymore? Come on, get with the 80's.

You're right, except for the Stones and Led Zep.
I got 50 on Orrin, but I think he'll lose 4 fingers. Who's in?
Brutha, NOTHING is cooler than ninjas. These guys are cool; and by cool, I mean totally sweet.
It's the first three letters of your name, brotha. You're doomed.
Finally! The 'free as in herpes' joke that's on topic!
+1, DAMM

Erowid is, as always, your friend.
In 15 minutes, everyone will own Linux.
Right. The IP is owned by Novell. SCO is pwnzed by Novell.

My god, man! When do you eat?! Tough life, for sure. I pity the poor suckers that have to actually, you know, work for a living.
The machine is mine (not a knock off, the real deal), the game is mine (not warez'd, just imported from japan)...why can I be prosecuted?
Because they have more money than you do.

Isn't the point of buying condoms so you don't have to buy a pregnancy test?
Or Nicole Bass for that matter.
Link, for all you other lazy bastards out there.

Note that the New York Times is one of the most liberal of major newspapers in the country.
Umm, what? Hahahahaha! That's the best thing I've read all night. Are you drunk, or just retarded? How often do you read the Times, anyway?
Remember, only YOU can prevent gun control!

Unfortunately, they also weigh as much as my 3 week old baby. I do plan to do some boating this summer... boat anchors maybe?
I dunno. Good luck. I tried that last summer, but the babies kept floating to the surface.
Looks like it's retailing for just over 400 bucks.

That's pretty silly. Everyone knows if you're running Commodore 64s, you install NetBSD.
