OK, lets try this again, I crashed out of my 1st post.

I also see why the people that make Abiword are trying to make popele understand that it is not a finished product yet.

I do not agree with them saiying that it will never be as polished of a product as word.. Word is by far a bug free product.. With Abiword what I would do if I were on the project is make what works and what people use work VERY well and take out the features that are not used..

MSword is full of blaot, espically the newest versions. Don't let Abiword get that way, keep it a small, fast, MSword compatable word processor, not a CLOAN. When one thing works perfectly get then slowly add more features as people request them. Ket it as low on bugs as possable and Show MS that a program can be made with out bugs all over the place.

But what ever you do, don't give up to MS and say there will alwyas be better or you just as well stop now..

    I agree,

I am not going to pay for a service that has comercials.. If they didn't have comercials and I was able to bring my rights to listen to the music from my car, to house or what ever that would be some thing I would think about.

But the way I read it the radio receiver and chip is tied to your car at this time.

Make it a smart card and make "portable" receivers that all use the same standards and then they may have a service.

Also as part of the contract I would insist that they cannot add comercails with out the option of me cancling my service at that time.

They should be marketing the "Digital receiver" and a digital media server for businesses.

With that they could wire music into every were there is a existing network drop.

With a little modification to the software on the server I am sure they could do forced broadcasts for warnings in the building and company propaganda.

In a building that is already networked it could very well be cheeper then the "tradional" PA system.

In the home envirment I really think it needs to be more "sterio" like and have some form of storage on board to store the music so the server does not always need to be on.. Otherwise it boils down to what a lot of people are saying..

Nothing more then WinAmp with a remote control.

I still say MS should give the schools the cash and let them do what they want with it.. No regulations except it be spent on some sort of technology. It would make it less of a conflict.

Most likely MS would still get a big boost from it because the schools would feel they had to after all MS gave them the money.. But it will leave the decision in the schools hands to get what they truly need.

On the other hand if we do not have educated children in 10 years are so companies like Microsoft will be in sorry shape.

Maybe just ALL the technology should be give to the schools.. Let the companies get into a donation race if they want and see who wins.

Nicly Demand the exact time and Date that you ageed and a copy of that EULA

    (1) I took advantage of a free install that my cable Co was using at the time and they came and did the work and installed the software (There for I never agreed to a EULA then),
