    Strength is also dynamic and changing. You may not enjoy it, but if they manage to turn the masses and the laws against you, then in the way that counts, they were stronger than you. That's what darwinists and capitalists do not understand, if you play this power game to the end, there is no fair and unfair, just success and failure.

    There is a strange phenomenon that I've noticed. When I was a child we were always told that books are for adults. Nowadays, children are reading MORE than adults. Adults are mesmerized by screens, while young enough kids who still haven't got addicted still enjoy picture books more. This does not bode well.

    Money is a construct made by the state, and in general, assuming that things are yours as if it was a law of nature and not something you have to constantly fight for, is naive at best.

    Funny, I find porn body types to be much more realistic than those in "normal" TV. In porn you can see fat people, ugly people, people of all races, amputees, etc.

    C++ is simply much more powerful, with operator overloading, multiple inheritance and templates

    Aren't these exactly the reasons why C++ is LOSING ground today? It's weird how the world changes.

    Interstellar was a shitty, overly long movie, with great visuals and a shallow american plot. The worst part was the end twist (SPOILER COMING HERE, DO NOT READ FURTHER), that love was some kind of a superpower in a metaphysical better, made even less sense than the typical shonen anime twist where the hero's anger somehow fuels his mystical energies. I truly do not understand what people liked about this movie except for the visuals.

    Why is COBOL and C++ compared with Pascal? The first are languages with problems that were once popular and are now legacy with plenty of good positions. Pascal existed mostly in schools.

    We keep hearing about how "economic growth" is a good thing. And yet, in practice, it seems that when a service gets "economic growth" (cable TV is a good example), it becomes shittier. Yet, we cling to "economic growth" like priests in a church.
