The world is so fucked up it makes me want to puke sometimes. And no, I don't puke when I'm happy either.
They need to think about the fact that, if gator makes it horrible for people on windows and everyone blocks them out, where do they turn next? macOS and linux, the next 2 biggest markets.
I believe Norton Antivirus does get rid of most adware/spyware. This is what lots and lots of people have told me, symantec and tech-knowledgeable friends alike.
It was an enjoyable movie, with a less predictable plot than many blockbuster movies, better action sequences than the average sci-fantasy movie, and I'm sure I could remember other things to mention if I was more awake. The people I know that know the Final Fantasy series all at least liked the movie. None of them thought it was "bad". I think being a "video game movie" killed it with the general public more than anything else. My friend worked at the theater at the time and asked people who were seeing a similarly themed movie if they had thought about The Spirits Within, and they invariably said "it's that weird Japanese game movie, isn't it?"
But I know my area may not be the norm, and my group of friends was more enthusiastic than many.
Except that he's saying his RTOS is so much leaner and specific that it will cost the external company less because it will take fewer lines of code to review and less time.
I don't see how nudity can approximate the "blow your mind" aspect of finding out Samus was female. Besides, there's no reason they can't start out the movie with an action sequence. They've done it before successfully. It can be like the latest Schwarzenegger action movie and bring fans purely on action, then have th eplot twist of the "arnold" character in the suit being a woman.
Saying this, if they include the suit, they'll probably style it so there's no question the suit contains a woman. This isn't necessarily bad, but not the best idea if you ask me.
Have you *ever* played Metroid? Samus is an action hero more along the lines of Kate Beckinsale in Underworld. The worst thing they could possibly do is put a woman with gigantic breasts in that suit. They can still make the stylized breasts on the suit with a less endowed actress. I personally will refuse to watch the movie if they use a busty actress and there's no power suit.
You're right. I was trying to place the "she's a blonde" comment with reality when I read your post and remembered that. She has green hair in the first GBA game, as well, though I haven't seen the other games, and haven't finished Prime to see her out of the suit in that.
Meroid has been on every single console Nintendo has produced, with the possible exception of the N64 (I haven't researched it, going from memory now).
It's much older than pokemon, but has a few less games than pokemon because of the myriad colors that one comes in.
Samus Aran (the main character) has also appeared in a few other games, mainly the Super Smash Brothers series, though there may have been one or two others.
I can't find the launch date for the original Metroid, but I know it was within the first 2 years of the NES being released.
I was insanely tired at the time. I still am insanely tired. I may try and fix my math once I've had more than 3 hours of sleep in any given 24-hour period. As far as I can tell it's right, but you're right that it doesn't make any sense either. When I can't make sense out of what I myself wrote, it's time to go to bed.
It's called a family of 3 people who all have taxes to do and only one of whom can cash in a mail-in rebate, or spouses who file separately, boyfriend/girlfried living together, group of friends in the same house.....
Not all are technically using it to the full intent Intuit has, but it's sort of ridiculous to have 5 people in one house filing returns and buy 5 copies of the software at $30 or so each.
it's something that'll probably happen in one or 2 of these things, unless they're made really shoddily, but that's another story.
I agree it shouldn't be informative, but it's something that's sorta neat to think about. If this does happen while someone is riding, I want uncensored pics of the damage.
Try out that math again. It's actually 150 k/s is equal to 960 kbps. And, depending on which version of M they decide to go with (whether 1M = 1000k or 1024k) that is still below the 1 Mbps mark. 1 Mbps is equivalent (in most cases) to ~125 k/s (using the 1024 method it would be ~128 k/s).
I haven't personally used it, but many many people I have talked to have said they took out the DRM and are allowing multiple installs from one CD (especially since they can't track it by CD-key anymore). I would probably wait to see the reaction of someone who used it firsthand, however.
Kerry didn't seem to make any empty promises. Bush said that he wants universal broadband by 2007. Kerry merely said that he will spur broadband technologies in order to make it more affordable and widespread. He didn't promise a time like Bush. And Bush didn't seem to have any plan for universal broadband, and didn't even seem to say that he would push money into that area like Kerry said.
Now, if I want to feel the magic if the Star Wars universe I just pick up one of the many SW books by the better authors. Especially the X-Wing series. I see the new trilogy more for how much Lucas decided to change rather than the real story.
Because, if nothing else, battery life is generally shortened by adding those features.
I know you'd like to believe that's not true if you turn those features off. But the color screen you can't turn off. The camera you can turn off, but you can't keep it from using the tiniest bit of extra energy from just being connected.
The problem I have with the cheap-ass phones is that they generally have worse reception than the more expensive phones, or shorter battery life, or some other caveat. I'll probably get a phone with advanced features just so I can get the better reception.
That's why I have my phone vibrate, then ring, that way I can *hopefully* answer it before it rings and someone else thinks it is theirs. If I happen to not have it close enough to my body to feel the vibration and hear the ring, then I know it's mine because mine comes with 20 rings, not ringtone songs.
Ditto.

Natural Selection was late to the game as mods for HL go. It wasn't really seen as an option for a long time after release IIRC.

MS IS NOT OUT TO EAT YOUR CHILDREN AND DEFECATE ON YOUR WIFE!!!!
They aren't? But what about these letters I keep getting signed Bill Gates that say: "I AM OUT TO EAT YOUR CHILDREN AND DEFECATE ON YOUR WIFE!!!!"?
Do you mean that it's just Bill Gates and not MS doing this? Do you think I should get some legal advice?

Yes you are.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but you are.
Are what you may ask?
Genetically defective.
You are and he is and she is and they are and it is and he is, and (etc ad nauseam).
Yes, I'm being a dumbass. I just feel like it now.

I haven't seen the movie in a while, but I seem to remember it didn't have the best handling in Akira, either.....
you read my mind...... freaky.....
granted it's not one of my main fetishes, but it's not as bad as some things Americans have come up with...

Remember: 1 kilobyte = 8 kilobits
1 megabyte = 8 megabits
1 megabyte = 1024 kilobytes (base 2 format)

Yes, all our miney *is* going to Iraq. Do you not watch the news nowadays or something? The leftovers are still going to Afghanistan, as well.
I believe we're still giving Germany money after we bombed them to hell in WW2. I'm not sure on that one, though.

Agreed. Otherwise why would they say that spider silk is so many times stronger than a steel braided cable of the same thickness?
