Better yet How many people in this country have not used a scantron sheet to take a test? You give them out to everyone in line they fill it out as they advance through the line then scan it and have it drop into a lock box. There you go stable mature technology instant counting of votes and a paper trail. The only question left is how to get the data to a central server but there are many options for that problem.

So what happenes when your car is in a wreck and the wires to the fasteners are damaged? do you have to repair the wireing harness before you repair the car? where does this leave junk yards that salvage parts from wrecked vehicles? will they have to repair the cars before they part them out? This might make cars easier to assemble but its going to be a nightmare when they need repairs.

I work for a small to midsized company 400-500 employees and we just installed the hand scanners to be used for payroll. So far the employees love it no problems with losing a time card all the machines are syncd so the time on one side of the plant is the same as on the other and no one can sign in a friend early or an enemy out early. Our hand scanners also do not take fingerprints. Its mearly a 3d image of the hand even if we gave that info to everyone that asked what could you do with it. This has no security issues that I can see and many advantages over a time clock system.
