    What about the emotional issues that the mice will have when people scream at them. Will they be able to obtain the proper counseling to overcome their emotional trauma? Will the government pick up the bills, or will they have to pay for it themselves? Will the psychologists accept peanuts?

    The Egyptian language was Coptic, which is still in use today. The written form is different, but the language is close enough that the Hieroglyphs are understandable. Coptic language

    Is English no longer in use because it's different than what Shakespeare used?

    Another similar example would be the SR-71. They actually destroyed the tooling used to build that plane so that no more could be built.

    How about the tools used to build the pyramids? They have fallen so far out of use, that we don't even know what they were. Numerous theories exist, but a theory isn't the actual tool set and is likely wrong.

    I beg to differ. China has made all sorts of bellowing noises against things they felt would embarrass them on the international stage.

    So why do they, and all the other media outlets, keep pulling clips out of this show.

    If I were the Chinese, I'd also be embarrased to be seen sliding across the floor in my underwear, while playing air guitar.

    Another advantage, if you are going downward, you can skip the motor entirely. You would need something to control the speed, so drop a generator in its place to add additional load as needed. You get power generation as well as your load moved.

    On an old Firefox 1.5.0.12, this site is almost unusable. The left menubar covers most of the top of the screen, hiding all but the last inch or so of text. Scrolling the text leaves all but that small bit readable, so you will never be able to see the first story. If you manage to get into a story, the menu gets smaller width wise, but still covers the first several words of text on each line. Slashdot is now essentially unreadable using this browser.
