How about those informants that were outed by these documents. Once the Taliban get done "cleaning up" these leaks, there will be that much less information available to out troops. Information like this can save lives, but outing such informants whose families will be tortured and messily killed will cause others who might have been a source of information to keep quiet.

Maybe you enjoy seeing a pregnant wife whose head has been cut off and her baby hacked out of her belly to scare off other informants, but I wouldn't like to have that on my conscience. But, you're obviously a Democrat, so anything to eliminate our troops is a very good thing, right?

It requires an emergency session of congress, because she needs the funds before some other vacationing monarch buys them out from under her. That would be a political disaster, to see a foreign princess walking around in her shoes! They might even be seen wearing them on TV! With a matching haddbag, even!

What about the Obama Volt? As long as you live less than 20 miles from work, and replace your batteries frequently enough so that your range doesn't diminish too much with age, and never forget to plug it in when you get home, and drive it every single day, you could get a maximum of 40 * 365 * 5 = 73,000 miles out of it over 5 years! I guess that's one way to make sure you don't put too many miles on it.

How does that stack up against a hybrid? Would most people require a second car for when they actually need to go somewhere? How much would the power cost per year?

It's especally satisfying when you catch a would-be theif and turn them into one of your minions.

The only real problem occurs when they hit critical mass. Your minion staff is growing rapidly, and more traps are being built than you can keep track of. At this point, it's time to escape before you end up caught in one of your own traps. The mind blasted minions usually get confused without your leadership, and end up calling themselves scientologists.

It might be possible, but not worth the effort. The structural material and equipment necessary to maintain the vacuum would probably outweigh any advantage using helium (or hydrogen) would have.

You would have to maintain a structure with extremely large forces trying to crush you "balloon". With an actual gas, you just need a bag, and the gas provides the force required to keep the "balloon" from collapsing. Since a vacuum would only gain a small "lift" advantage, the simpler "gas" design would probably be safer (less likely to implode) and cheaper.
