Apparently human workers get 5% of their time for 'self improvement' and it made me realise that I spend about the same amount of time writing crap on forums:(
As has happened with the countless and generally crap Marvel spinoffs, sometimes less is more.
The market will not support more than one or two shows running and certainly doesn't need any highschool settings!
Thank you kindly (and the couple of other posters) for the heads-up.
I've seen a lot of great work going into emulation but had no idea there was such an active scene in original content... my rich mate had the Amiga and I had the Spectrum!
News to me!
Had no idea these platforms were still supported and if supporting a system that was 'obsolete' more than 20 years ago is not nerdy, then I'm handing my card in!
I would assume that being work-focused and driven is not the state one achieves with mindfulness, particularly if you are in the wrong job....
For some jobs I could see mindfulness being very beneficial, eg social worker, teacher perhaps?
I just had another brainfart. Individually we are getting stupider but due to our connectedness we no longer need massive IQs.
We only need a few individuals clever enough to design an internet, a search engine and Stackoverflow! The rest of us drones can google any questions we need.
As to whether we will let killer robots exist - of course we will, we spend millions training KIDS to kill, robots would be better (not from a game theory pov possibly)
Many countries are one tiny event away from anarchy already. Look what happened when the price of onions went up in India in 2010, the govt nearly fell... and they are just about hitting new price highs again.
So, if onions can bring about chaos, what would happen if thousands of jobs started disappearing monthly? The descent into feudalism is more worrying to me than robots with lazers!
In the old days, people came into work and had conversations about soaps, now they have conversations about BuzzFeed articles and Twitch stars.
Not sure much has changed - most people are passive consumers of low-effort content.
Whilst I agree that these mega corporations should pay more tax, it seems a bit odd that they are being directly targeted with a homelessness tax proportional to their workforce.
Kind of like when councils use motorists as the cash cow to fund their pet projects/pensions.
I haven't played on a PS4 or Xbox and I doubt I will get involved in the next generation unless they drop their preoccupation with polygons and frame rates and start producing fun games.
I think this is officially the day the utopian dream died. The internet didn't bring world peace after all, but cities are now building special lanes for zombies reading smartphones!
For 300lb burger fans eating 3 or 4 at a time, any chewing is unwanted!
Yeah, spices by the gram ain't too precise! Hopefully no hot chilli in there.

Choose one :)
If you're not paying for a product, then you are the product!
It was nice knowing you. I would love to see Google redacting pages for the EU market... just disable and block anything on YouTube that isn't a homemade cat video!
With legal marijuana, now is the time to get into the fast food industry!
If you stopped at the first episode you missed a good series. I would say the fight scenes are very well done and feature fairly believable physics.

I believe it is being named 'The Alan Parsons Project'.

British plumbers are notorious for high prices and bum cleavage. I'm hoping that Uber don't adopt either of those!

How do they differentiate between internet time spent watching Netflix (ie TV), and internet time spent doing internet things eg Facebook?

So far, this is following a 'Silicon Valley' plotline. Wonder if the compression technique was originally conceived in the same manner!
Paid lots of money for my charger - which is why I have only one :(
Unlike old USB where I had cables in every room!
Ok, reading further, the list is not in any sort of order to start with, which makes any shortcomings in Excel irrelevant imo
Who cares if more people named Aaron get picked than Zachary? I don't know either, so the process is random!
Trump assumes that the science is known and that what remains is politics, or in his case, tantrums.
