  1. Most laptops don't leave the house, so weight isn't really a massive issue. Given the choice though, most would go for a small and sexy form factor, since there isn't really a portable games machine at the price most consumers are paying.

    Just because the symptoms look like ADHD, doesn't mean it is. I'd be interested in knowing how long the effects last? Speaking personally, I struggle to watch a 2 hour film at home as my fingers start creeping towards the phone. I could give the phone up anytime though, honest!!

    Norway carefully used their assets whilst the UK pissed their oil wealth away. Africa is currently flogging all their mineral assets to China on the cheap to benefit a few bent politicians and supercar salesmen. Like the modern day Ant and Grasshopper!

    Matches have been robbed of the drama that causes them to be remembered for decades. Not sure whether that is a valid reason to get rid of VAR though... kind of like arguing against drug tests!

    Don't want to be harsh but vast tracts of land, including valuable rainforest, will be deserts and tarmac without mosquitoes. Stopping malaria will trigger some severe unintended consequences.

    Python is incredibly popular due mainly to flexibility and ease of use. It's taught in schools so I imagine it will only keep growing although Guido leaving is a bit of a blow.

    Agreed. Having any job used to be respected but gradually some sort of expectation inflation crept in.... maybe it's the push to get more people into further education ? Or the shallow materialism that permeates our culture?
