  1. Where has personal responsibility gone???? on FCC Will Tackle Cell Phone 'Bill Shock' · · Score: 1

Why does the FCC need to enact rules to prevent people from doing DUMB things? If I go over my minutes, I should pay for them. How is it that hard to understand? The carriers give you a way (sometimes free) to check your minutes, via your account webpage, or sending text messages. People need to start taking responsibility for themselves.

This game does seem to be marketed to young girls. I don't see a problem with this. I think the submitters comment that this is a "low blow" is ludicrous!

  5. Depends on the level of the skirmishers on The Crossing - A New Way to FPS? · · Score: 1

I think this would work, assuming the skirmishers weren't that powerful. If the skirmishers were 1/4 as powerful as the elites, the having a bunch of skirmishers attach you, would suck.

Why do we all ignore the fact that downloading copy write material, without paying for it, is just illeagal???

I agree that the RIAA is and has gone to far in prosecuting people, but they are only trying to protect their investments. Everyone is missing the point that people are still breaking the law, even if it's not as serious as stealing a car...

Do you really need 24 or 100 mbps????? Are you really downloading that much porn that a meager old 1.5 mbps won't get the job done? I would find a figure of "X% of the population isn't' using dial-up (read as broadband)" to be much more meaningful.

I can't understand why no one blames the parents for subjecting their children to violent video games. It's the parents responsibility to monitor their kids- what TV shows/movies they watch, what video games they play ect.

Parents need to start doing their jobs IMHO.
