  3. How about the relay scammers? on Microsoft Helping Nigeria Fight Scammers · · Score: 1

Email scam isn't the only way it's being done in that area.

Phone scammers use the system intended for the hearing impaired to add a layer between them and the credit card scams they attempt, to the point where if you sell something to someone using the internet relay, you are a complete fool. A huge percentage of the calls on this system are scammers now, and the companies that provide the service don't wish to fight it, since they are paid by volume of calls!

  14. Survival and morals on Alex, The Brainy Parrot Who Knows About Zero · · Score: 1

"'survival of the fittest' is not a moral philisophy in any sense of the word."

This is simply not true. Survival of the fittest is strongly linked to morals in two ways.

First, moral behavior is simply applying the survival behavior to all of society.

Second, societies develop morals which make society stronger, or fail to develop morals and then fail to thrive.

  18. Best Halo 2 review ever... on Review: Halo 2 And The MagicBox XFPS · · Score: 1

The best description of Halo2 I've heard is that it's a pretty good single player game of Halo, and it comes with a version of Quake online. Sadly, Halo online would have been better than Quake.

The changes made to the Rocket Launcher, and the complete dominance of the energy sword makes online play much less enjoyable then multiplayer in Halo1, despite being on Xbox live.

Additionally, the legendary skill setting becomes pointlessly frustrating once you reach the section where the enemy has beam rifle sniping weapons.
