This is actually pretty stupid considering the fact that in order to get this to work, you need to add more infrastructure to make it happen. And what IT department will go through all this trouble, when the business people it supports already have laptops/pdas/tablet pc's which have at least IR. If they have WiFi... most people in a Corp environment will have Network drives which they know how to use, and they be sharing files that way.
This is a novel toy but i don't expect to see it any real corporation
At RIT in the Computer Science House, we filled a fishtank with about 100 bottles of baby oil. Took apart a 486 and left the IDE cable and HD hanging off the side, while Mobo and everything else was submerged in the baby oil.
Was fun. (5 yrs ago, btw).
This would make a cool GTA map! Maybe we could change the skins on the buildings to make them look like simpsons buildings... And change all the characters to simpsons characters.... Damn... it's really too bad we can't mod GTA.
You seem wrong in your statement. You can't trademark a number, can you trademark the words defining the number? Could you trademark FourEightySix??? If so, the you should be able to trademark Googol, as it's just the name of the large number.....

What is it about the Administrator account that is "not all powerful"? IIRC, There's nothing I can't do under local admin (to the local machine, ofcourse).
In some of the questions, Google was beat to the answer but even up to 8 min, but I would honestly spend an extra 8 min looking through google results, then drive to my nearest library
Anyone with a good head on their shoulder will see what a great point the Parent post makes. MOD PARENT UP!!!!
Great points man, I am impressed at how structured your mind is. Kudos!
What the hell is so wrong about microsoft wanting to bundle it's own software with it's OS????
Why isn't someone suing apple for including a video player with their OS? or KDE for their browser? WTF???
In the long term, say 6-8 months, I find that alot of my burned disks become unreadable
User Error me thinks. I have cds over 5 years old, some scratched to hell, and I can still read them perfectly fine.
I've noticed this SOO many times... i'll read my daily slashdot, and later that night or the next, I'll hear about the news on TechLive or such..... I bet the producers come here for their daily meat.
Verizon Wireless already offers wireless broadband. the technology is 1XEVDO (AKA "Broadband Access") and is avail. @$80/mo unlimited. They claim to be ast fast as cablemodems.... Haven't actually tried it yet.
I still wish there was software you could install on the iPOD to make it act as a video drive. Hook it up directly to a miniDV camera via firewire and record video to it, rather than tape (or both)
1: Make the most software/hardware compatible OS in the world 2: Profit!!!!
10-15%???? There's no reason why they can't have a decent looking website + domain name + simple email for about 500$!
