    DT is Deutsche Telekom AG (ADR) (NYSE), the parent company of T-Mobile. T-Mobile is not publicly traded in the US except through DT. Their stock did go up today but time will tell.

    Just run NTP inside the guest Virtual Machines. Also turn off VMware tools time sync in each VM guest under "edit setting" -> "options", etc.

    Nothing like CVS or FlexLM will break.

    You probably can do this without any downtime. Try vmware-toolbox to change the VMware tools time sync option online.

    No, the point is that normal diamonds are poor conductors but if you restructure them into nanotubes then they would be great conductors.

    Existing transmission lines are a huge waste of energy. They hold back conversion from fossile fuels to solar and wind by limiting the distance electricity can be effectively sent. Copper is too soft and heavy so aluminum transmission lines are built but there is too much resistance so transmission distance is cut back.

    With nanotubes, near-superconducting transmission lines could be built which would enable cloudly areas to reap the benefits of solar electric power from deserts and wind power from the plains.

    In two years nobody will be able to remember this promise. Back when man went to the moon the civil engineering was at its peak. The world's longest bridge had just been completed in 1969 and in a few years the tallest building and largest dam would be completed in 1973. What happened after that?

    Right now the USA is teetering on the brink of complete disaster. China has just stopped propping up the US economy by revaluing the yuan. The US infrastructure facilities built in the peak years like highways and the electrical grid are falling apart. There's no moon or mars shots in the future, just empty promises.

    Look at the bottom of the article, it clealy says:

    CitiFinancial is inviting customers to enroll via a toll-free number, 1-888-469-8603, in a free credit monitoring service for 90 days.

    This whole article is a ploy to get you to buy their credit monitoring service. Once you sign up they hope you forget you did and after 90 days they start charging you for credit monitoring.

    If Peak Oil is fake why not boycott gasoline? Oh, and boycott all other forms of transport except ox carts, horses, bikes, etc. Oh and all food except the stuff grown locally and transported by animals or humans-powered equipment. Also electric power since coal is hauled from South America to the US on diesel powered ships before crushing it and burning it for electricity. Don't forget to boycott plastics, resins, paints, etc.

    That'll teach them!
