    firstly you need to learn to read, it doesn't say they made 1.6 billion from watches, the apple division that includes the watch, headphones and many other devices made that. secondly from your own link "The Apple Watch continues to underwhelm". There is no doubt apple is the leader in this segment, but even they are not setting the world on fire with sales and have undershot on all of their own and analyst estimates.

    because it is fucking moronic. firstly if they have the technology to travel to any planet what possible reason is their to invade, they already have access to unlimited resources, technology that is 1000's if not millions of years more advanced and are likely superior in every way. We aren't even close to creating true AI, in the last 50-100 years of research if the goal was the moon we still well and truly have our feet planted on the earth with no concept of how to get their yet.

    back in the days of world war 1 and 2 one man was just one man. Now adays 1 man can easily be responsible for the murder or millions at the press of a button. Someone like trump could trigger the deaths of more people than died in the entirety of WWII in a matter of seconds with only a handful of people needed to blindly obey the order.

    The lender separates themselves from the challenge of figuring out how to generate cash from the amount they lend. They *don't care* how *you* do it, just that once issued, you owe them.

    nothing special about that, go to any bank right now and you can take out such a loan. Though expect to be charged out the ring for it due to the high risk associated with such lending to the bank. You seem a little ignorant as to what can and cannot already be done, crypto coins bring nothing new here, in fact they probably are far more constrained and limited.

  12. I don't think Uber have EVER been about deregulation, they have only been about removing regulations that make them less profitable. I have never heard them protest a regulation where it wasn't specifically in their best interest to have the regulation removed.

    when you are using your money you can do whatever you like with it. When you are using someone else's then they get some semblance of control. This would be the case whether you buy in dollars, bitcoin or tulip bulbs. Crypto currencies do nothing to address this at all.

  14. depending on the card but here are a few, casino chips (yes some let you do cash advances in a casino, many don't). online gambling, some restrict pornography purchases (Amex), paying your loans, buying stocks/bonds/options. A quick google search will find you a lot more.

    that is completely untrue, the only time I ever came close to an accident was near Bondi beach where a couple of topless woman were walking along the footpath, nearly rear ended the car in front of me and a friend had to get stitches in his head from walking into a post while staring at a particularly nice set across the road. Was funniest thing I ever saw, he will never live that down.

    2% is a pretty massive amount to rise and fall on a daily basis and most crypto currencies fluctuate far more than that, dips here or there can happen that much but if you are in something that is fluctuating that wildly every day you either have plenty of spare money to lose and hence can afford high risk investment, are a gambler or just bad investor.

    They are not overstepping their charter at all. The SEC deals with company disclosures and they are investigating whether Apple breached the disclosure laws.

    What's there to investigate, really? They admitted that they did it. The information is public. Is it illegal to write software which could be construed to have a useful purpose even if it negatively impacts performance? That could describe features of just about any software out there. Is this something we really want the government doing?

    I would think their is potential for investigation, the actions of apple at best can be considered poor if you accept their reasons. At worst it is criminal if the motives were what many suspect which is to force users to upgrade.

    this is not a rare skill. It is one of the easiest positions to fill in security teams as literally a shit ton of people can do it, all it requires is confidence and being well prepared.
