You were modded down but if I had mod points I would try and correct it. These scumbags pray on the elderly as their primarily target, they have no morals, mercy or sympathy for their victims and will happily wring them dry leaving them destitute if they can and the second they are free they will start up the exact same scam again.
``The biometric data was stored on servers located off-site, in space leased from a third party. Lee argued the business had never sought its workers' consent to use fingerprint scanning, and feared his biometric data would be accessed by unknown groups and individuals.''
Management may unaware of it but that information will be accessed by unknown groups and individuals. It's just a matter of time.
doesn't really matter, fingerprint scanners don't store your fingerprints anyway.
I agree with disclosure, but if anyone bought cryptocoin because of advice they got from Floyd Mayweather, they are going to be parted with their money sooner or later. I don't know what is wrong with America that allows this kind of advertising strategy to work, but it might very well be the central problem in America at the moment.
^this, I always wonder what sort of fucked up retard you have to be in order to make investments or purchase stuff based on a celebrity endorsement. Realistically someone somewhere is going to scam them out of there money sooner or later. But I guess protecting the mentally challenged is something as a society we do have to do, just hard to fathom how many there are.
how is that any different to someone keeping their cash under their bed instead of a bank? A lot of people have already lost their bitcoins FOREVER because they took bitcoin seriously and decided to manage their own keys. Bitcoin has exactly the same problem, actually in many ways it is worse as they don't have any government backing or insurance to give even a token amount back.
Those imbeciles are the ones who pay the bills, if your IT is too fucking stupid to cater to them then it is you that is at fault not them. It is not on them to meet your requirements.
perhaps US steel prices are really that low over there? here that is what you pay for scrap metal, it is at least an order of magnitude higher for manufacturing steel.
sorry you can't dominate with a sub 1% market share. So anything they make now is irrelevant, basically you need to be looking at what they and their competition will be making in 5 to 10 years, maybe they will eventually be a major player overall or even dominate, but a lot of water has to successfully pass under their bridge before that happens and everyone else needs to sit on their hands doing nothing for that same period.
GM make around 10 million cars per year. Tesla make less than half a million. even if every single sale came out of a GM sale that is 5%, more likely the impact from tesla is somewhere south of 1% so I doubt they are eating their lunch, Tesla are still far too small for that.
No I made no comment on what I think of his idea, for the record I think it ALSO sucks balls, probably less so than BTC but still awful. Was merely correcting the OP inability to read.
and none of those are a reason for it to recover. also show me any period in golds history where it lost 80% of its value in under a year? for that matter the stock market, even the biggest stock market crashes in history only amount to about 20% so how is that "less volatile"
deVere Group appear to have sunk a large amount of investment into BTC and crypto in general. Any investment advise from them in this area should be considered seriously tainted.
"Earlier this week, one financial advisory firm's CEO told CNN that they were still bullish on bitcoin."
So why change it to "one advisory firm's CEO" instead of Devere Group's CEO.... Ohhhhh right it is because then people would know it is someone that has sunk a lot of money into crypto currencies and them failing would also mean they fucked up. That is like asking the con man selling you the bridge whether there is any future value in owning the bridge.
Yep agree. I found the funniest and perhaps most telling piece of information is earlier this year the news here added BTC/USD in their list of currencies news, it was finally removed a month or so ago. The public no longer has an interest in it, Crypto currencies, exchanges and scammers have burnt all the interest and good will towards them and I doubt we will ever see that return without some fundamental change or exciting evolution.
Really? Why? This is a simple question that no one has been able to provide a robust answer too. Bitcoin doesn't provide anything that other crypto coins don't and lacks many of the features they do, it also doesn't provide any of the stability of "most" fiat currencies and doesn't seem to solve any problems. So why would it recover?
some of the most exploited vulnerabilities have all been old. The reality is a vast number of home users AND sys admins don't adequately maintain systems.
really where are all the people praising this startup? I see a lot of people eyeing them with suspicion. Regardless whether they are legit or not that doesn't change the facts around Musk's shenanigans.
I don't visit china and the Chinese government have no jurisdiction or even much in the way of government cooperation. It isn't about which government is worse it is which has the power to fuck me over, the Chinese can collect all they want, they can't do shit to me, the NSA or other 5 eyes if they decide to target me I am completely at their mercy.
That is fucking impressive. What model time machine did you use to travel to the future to access all these universal windows drivers?
That would actually be far smarter than this fucked up braindead system they have come up with.
you are probably correct that nuclear is on its way out, very sad for the environment and the world as a whole.

I think I would take the risky updates over having anything iTunes/icloud on a machine voluntarily.

ummm I think you somehow misread that. It is that bitcoin completely LACKS privacy.

Indeed Bitcoin will recover in a few years.

yes and people do this already. follow the money when you want to know where to buy.
I would rather not watch a movie than watch one with ads during its playback. don't think I have watched a movie with ads at all in the last 5 years.
such a course of action would be the end of all open source software as we would all be sued into non existence.
