I live in central Washington, where most of the state's hydro-electric power comes from. I pay less than $.03 per kilowatt/hr for power here, but that price has been steadily rising because of cryptocurrency operations setting up shop in the area. In the past we have always had a large surplus of power that was sold to California at a higher rate, but not anymore. The mining operations will have to go before this plan will happen, as I think more and more of them will be moving here. One of the small local airports is even adding direct flights to SanFrancisco because of all the mining operation employees that come up here from that city. Normally that airport only has flights to/from Seattle.
For all the people that say both parties are the same, here's a clear difference in policy. Unless you're against Net Neutrality, don't vote for the GOP next cycle
I think there are a few other political issues much more important than net neutrality. For example, the 'free and on-demand' full-term and post-birth 'abortions' the democrats are pushing - how is this not state-endorsed (and state paid for) murder? Net neutrality seems like a very minor thing compared to this.
Ever since adding Ubuntu and Kali bash shells to Windows I find myself booting into linux less and less. If GUI linux support is ever added that will be the end of linux stand-alone distros I think.
A member of congress from my own state said on her blog today that should would not vote for this bill because of this above all - the Internet should not be taxed.
Democrats could not give less of a crap about anything other than their own power. Just look at all the lies upon lies upon lies the last few years. To top it off they intentionally delayed the Mueller investigation until after the last election, I'm sure knowing full well that they found nothing - Mueller's 13-man team leading the 'investigation' are all registered Democrats.

I know there are a lot of haters here, most of whom I'm sure have never used it, but I believe that that the last really usable IDE from Microsoft that allowed for true rapid application development for desktop apps was Visual Basic 6.
Sure it didn't force you to do certain things, like declare variables, but that doesn't mean you can't declare them properly. Show me another language that lets you create a multi-dimensional array of database objects, or do true debugging of both the user screens and code from one place. Microsoft made a big mistake abandoning it - an no vb.net is not a replacement. If you think it is then you haven't used either.
I've had to type on a newer mb air recently (I don't know what generation), and I can honestly say my three year old Asus Zenbook's keyboard is a far better typing experience. Still miss the older Lenovo Thinkpad keyboards though.
I don't believe for a second that the heads of the Democratic party were not aware that Mueller would find nothing. I think it was purposely made a talking point and delayed so that any report would come out AFTER the 2018 election cycle, giving voters a reason to support them.

It had 64 cores (two AMD Epyc processors), 512gb RAM, four 1tb Samsung Evo 860 pro SSD's and four 4tb WD Gold drives, in a server case with a 960-watt redundant power supply. Why is this so much money?-- oh yeah, you get to run Mac OS. That's worth at least the extra $5k (and half the processor and memory).
He lived to be 93, and was still riding a motorcycle from Washington State to Kansas at 91. He had two fried eggs, bacon or ham and toast with real butter every day for most of his life. He also rolled his own smokes for 66 years too, which is really what did him in. Otherwise I'm sure he would have made it to 100 and beyond.

I have personally seen shuttle buses of non-English-speaking illegals being taken to more than one voting location in Spokane WA. In other words they voted more than one time, and should not have been allowed to vote in our elections at all. I have heard this practice also takes place in Seattle. They were not even trying to hide it - I asked what they were doing and they told me. I wanted to see where they came from so I followed one of the buses, which just went to another voting location - three different ones that I saw before needing to get back to work.
Until the media stops ignoring this kind of thing I think it will just get worse. Time for voter ID laws.

80%+ is a bit of a stretch, as only 76.2% have even used the Internet in the US. 20% + of what's left are non-internet-using elderly folks, who almost always vote.
I suspect NN has closer to 40% support, with at least another 40% not caring either way (not an issue for them) because they have know idea what net neutrality is.
While the concept of net neutrality is good, I'm not sure I want the government involved at all. Radio didn't require a license, then by law it did. Now an FCC radio license can cost a small fortune. For what?-- the FCC doesn't really do much of anything for their money.
Before you know it the FCC will require a license to have a website or email address, and email addresses will be linked to your SSN for identification. Don't forget Internet access taxes - just like phones have now. I'd rather the Internet remain free even if I have to shop for my ISP to get an un-throttled connection.
