Should have been law in the first place, not policy decided by 5 unelected guys in a closed room. Trump himself even said so much.
Now, the problem with the Democrats doing it is the bill will probably be 5000 pages long and include all kinds of other bullshit having nothing to do with net neutrality.
Trump won 84% of the geographical US (https://brilliantmaps.com/2016-county-election-map/). Without the electoral college the remaining 16% would have been enough for Hillary to have won. That 'majority' would also decide everything else about this nation. Those who wrote the constitution foresaw this, which is why we have the electoral college by design. As far as I am aware the only way to get rid of the electoral college would be via a constitutional convention, which I am thankful will probably not happen.
Also, if you omit the (possibly) hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants that are apparently voting in our elections Hillary didn't win the popular vote anyway.
I have personally seen buses filled with migrant workers going to multiple voting locations to vote, with the King county (Seattle) sheriff's deputies watching on. I know this has been happening in other states as well.
I really wish they would bring back the original K310 keyboard. Logitech discontinued it, then brought it back but with different (i.e., cheap and crappy) keyswitches. At least I wish they had changed the model number when they did this like with their mice. Then at least I'd know if I've found a vintage one that isn't crap.
If comcast was broken up, that would solve most current net-neutrality problems in this country for average consumers. Beyond breaking up monopolies I would just assume keep government out of my internet.
I know people on welfare that get small checks like this each month. The only reason they don't try to work is because they will loose their free money, so instead they just find creative ways to live off what they are given. The last thing they would ever consider doing is finding a job.
If I may, I would like to suggest a few additions. This is my New Green New Deal or Green New New Deal:
1. A free ice cream machine for every American (vegan ice cream, of course, because Cortez is killing all the milk cows).
2. Every sidewalk in America converted to a moving walkway.
3. Every staircase converted to an escalator.
4. Every escalator converted to an elevator.
5. A big bridge connecting North Carolina to Morocco, with, like, refreshment stands and stuff along the way. Also, like, there should be probably little cabins or something for people to sleep in.
6. A free blimp for every man, woman, and child.
7. A dog for every person.
8. A foot bath for every dog.
9. Essential oils for every foot bath.
10. No diseases (will cutdown on healthcare costs).
11. Universal joy.
12. A constantly refreshed selection of cereal in every pantry.
13. A lion that can tell me stories and grant wishes.
14. Immortality.
15. A computer type thing like from The Matrix where you plug in and learn how to do karate in five minutes.
16. Bananas that never rot.
17. No more loneliness.
18. Free consensual pony rides.
19. A kind of like robot thing that, like, lifts you out of the bed in the morning and puts on your pants for you and brushes your teeth.
20. All remaining student debt converted into tacos (one dollar of debt equals one taco).
According to my estimates, this plan is extremely affordable so long as we tax everyone at a moderate rate of 6,000 percent. We'd also need to consult with a team of highly-trained genies. I assume Cortez has already assembled that team if she's planning to provide a livable income and paid vacations to every single person in the country.
And here's the good news: most Americans will die anyway after Cortez tears down all of our homes and kills our livestock. This will thin the herd (pardon the pun) and make it much easier to provide for the small band of survivors who remain.
I was recently on an Apple forum looking for help in getting a monitor (which worked fine on a pc) to display the correct, native resolution on an iMac. It would default to 1024x768 without any option to change to the correct 1920x1080. The general response on the forum was 'just get a different monitor - preferably one made by Apple'.
So I say to you - do it the Apple way and just get a different phone to fix your problem - an Android phone.
No school in my area (central Washington state) allows students to have phones on the grounds, unless they are turned off. It's been this way for many years. Get caught with one that isn't turned off and it's confiscated, only retrievable by a parent or guardian.
Although I will miss iMessage and FaceTime, audio jack and form factor override those priorities. (I could always learn to like WhatsApp).
Google Duo works better than FaceTime and runs any any Android/Apple phone. Most Android phones will already have it even if their owners are unaware..
Bernie is an idiot, or maybe he just knows idiots like you will take his word on things. Those countries are capitalist with a few more socialist programs than the US. This is also why their tax rate is approaching 80%. They are quickly turning into the same shithole as Venezuela, and every other country that has ever embraced socialism before them. Fuck socialism.
I have an Asus Zenbook with an Intel core-M that works great. Plenty of power for all the tasks you mentioned, all day battery and no moving (and eventually failing) parts at all. If portability isn't necessary, do her eyes a favor and get her something with a 15"-17" screen instead. A larger screen will usually mean more productivity, at least it does for me.
Great news for me....I'm a media whore. My home fileserver has 40tb of space and it's full, spread across 20 or so hard drives of varying size, age and brand.
Backblaze doesn't use WD Gold drives, possibly because they are too expensive. We do, and they are certainly more reliable than the WD Red drives Backblaze does use.
We gave Toshiba a try in 50 or so machines - they did not do so well. We ended up replacing them all after a lot of failures.
Step one: Install Windows. Step two: Start IE or Edge long enough to go to Ninite.com Step three: Download custom Ninite installer for Chrome, Firefox, 7Zip, VLC, SumatraPDF, Notepad++, PuTTY, and most importantly CLASSIC START.
Watch their stock drop like a rock now. Over the years Ford has made a lot of very bad decisions like this one. I remember Ford ambulances spontaneously exploding after they were run hard (this was in the late 80's). It was caused by thin cheap low-carbon metal gas tanks and exhaust system parts. They had the same attitude about it as with the Pinto - it's cheaper to pay burn death victims's families that it is to fix their crappy vehicles.

Cohen just wants revenge for Trump not pardoning him. His whole testimony was nothing but sticks and stones.

They will just buy it from some other country if not from us. We have no reason not to do business with them, unless we just don't want to make money.
Without even looking I can bet the WSJ never referred to Obama as 'Mr. Obama'.
You forgot CNN
These are income taxes when the government takes from social security and uses that money for other things. It is then social only in name.
After using Vivaldi for a while I'm never going back to other browsers. And yes I know it uses the Chrome engine and plugins.

As long as apt-get install cinnamon works, I'm good with any linux os..
Here in the US the media is controlled by the democratic left - just as many lies to the people as in Venezuela.

The ACLU has become nothing more than a troll mill, just like the splc.

Goodbye stupid Windows ad menu.
The latest patch fucks up your data, messes with dark theme, wipes out god only knows what else....and their solution is to make some icons shiny?
Do I have that right?
When did Apple engineers start working for Microsoft?
