    Maybe in that case then it's better to ask if he is any more dead due to him being killed because he was black. It's still murder either way, right? I can see the point that if they can put multiple charges on for the same crime to set you thinking about plea bargains it's easier, but it is kind of strange. On the other hand, I think a lot of the so-called hate crimes (at least at the federal level) are civil not criminal, so it has a lower burden of proof.

    To do this they'd need to scrap and buy all new hardware though. It'd seem in this case that unless all the *uxes had some horrible flaw or the Macs have some incredible must have feature, *ux would be the way to go assuming they are dumping MS (as opposed to just ending an exclusivity contract.)

    Moron. Why engineer a disease that takes so long to kill people, who are burning resources the whole time? Hell, AIDS may not even show up for 10 years. As far as efficient killers, it doesn't even rank. There's a whole hell of a lot better ways to go about it.

    Nope. The easy way to remember is that the familiar is for folks you might call by their name, while respectful would be for people addressed by titles (Mr., your Kingliness, what have you.)

    It's from Holst's The Planets -- Mars, Bringer of War. Listen to the piece and you will hear it crop quite a lot. It also makes an appearance in several of the Star Wars themes as well. Get a little grounding in "classical" music, it's amusing to see where it turns up.

    Jeezus, did you even see Star Wars? When R2D2 mentions Ben Kenobi, C3PO (?) speculates about a memory wipe. It's brought up in the first movie.

    The more important question is why he doesn't seem to remember them, unless he's just deflecting from the question of ever owning them. Them durn Jedi could be deceptive, from a certain point of view...

    Don't you think it would be better to actually use a different term for that, instead of an abbreviation? I agree that they are different genres, but using the same term isn't terribly useful for delineating the two.
