Everybody knows that Beru kills Owen in a domestic disturbance, and Stormtroopers were only involved in trying to keep the peace between an obviously problematic couple. Jeez...
Maybe in that case then it's better to ask if he is any more dead due to him being killed because he was black. It's still murder either way, right?
I can see the point that if they can put multiple charges on for the same crime to set you thinking about plea bargains it's easier, but it is kind of strange. On the other hand, I think a lot of the so-called hate crimes (at least at the federal level) are civil not criminal, so it has a lower burden of proof.
To do this they'd need to scrap and buy all new hardware though. It'd seem in this case that unless all the *uxes had some horrible flaw or the Macs have some incredible must have feature, *ux would be the way to go assuming they are dumping MS (as opposed to just ending an exclusivity contract.)
Moron. Why engineer a disease that takes so long to kill people, who are burning resources the whole time? Hell, AIDS may not even show up for 10 years. As far as efficient killers, it doesn't even rank. There's a whole hell of a lot better ways to go about it.
Nope. The easy way to remember is that the familiar is for folks you might call by their name, while respectful would be for people addressed by titles (Mr., your Kingliness, what have you.)
Not to detract from you points in any way, but the average IQ was deliberately pegged at 100 so that you would have a good standard of measurement for above an below.
It's from Holst's The Planets -- Mars, Bringer of War. Listen to the piece and you will hear it crop quite a lot. It also makes an appearance in several of the Star Wars themes as well. Get a little grounding in "classical" music, it's amusing to see where it turns up.
Jeezus, did you even see Star Wars? When R2D2 mentions Ben Kenobi, C3PO (?) speculates about a memory wipe. It's brought up in the first movie.
The more important question is why he doesn't seem to remember them, unless he's just deflecting from the question of ever owning them. Them durn Jedi could be deceptive, from a certain point of view...
Nobody wants to be stuck on an airplane with a bunch of bums, who in all likelihood, will NOT contribute to that "earning money" thing, but will make the plane stank. Nice try, though...
Don't you think it would be better to actually use a different term for that, instead of an abbreviation? I agree that they are different genres, but using the same term isn't terribly useful for delineating the two.
Well, that's a horrible idea. The damn thing could just go off randomly in that case, or not at all. How many self-respecting bombers would put up with a limitation like that?
Actually somebody who lived in Tunguska in 1908 would have a right to be pretty damn glib. "I'm a hundred years old, and if that damn asteroid couldn't kill me, then obviously nothing else can!"
Hehe...it's not the market. It's the fact that the world is full of assholes, and they are equally distributed so that you never stop running into them.:)
You don't typically get an itemized listing on local landline calls.
You use string? Loser. I have a cellular can.

Spend all your time with handkind, do you?

But since the answer is ALREADY wrong, what difference would it make?

Did you even read the article? You're killing someone else, NOT the messenger.

Someone's never seen Silent Running....
Plus, gravity is relative. Something with a spin or under acceleration would certainly allow things to "fall", would it not?
Maybe they aren't sure if he is their "favorite computer criminal".

Offtopic? Who's the idiot moderator who did that? I beleive the commentary actually solicited UHF jokes, did it not?
SUPPLIES!!!!!!
That may be true, but yer average suicide bomber wouldn't be affected by this, as they need no hi-tech solutions...just a button. :)
(Those bastards, in case the smiley confuses my apparent opinion of them.)
Uhh...what's the difference between science fiction and sci-fi then?

Maybe it's smart enough to grasp the concept of a boat or plane? That would make it smarter than several /. posters so far...
