    yeah, but all the web recipes for coke don't have caffeine. I have a bucket of caffeine just not sure how much to add.

    Also those web recipes for coke are as dumb as those cake from a mix recipes. Mix syroup with sugar and water, then stick it in a corny keg. If they had recipes for cola that involed boiling a root or something I would go for it, but they always use a realy shitty mix that ends up being way to sweet.

    Generally text looks like crap in games and on tv. HDTV and progressive scan really do quite a bit to help text look sharp. Looking at a dvd in 480i and 480p shows the huge difference. especially with something like the andromeda series where there is text at the begining of every episode. Wathching the dvd in 480p the text looks much sharper and clearer with well defined edges.

    well, I think the text at the bottom of the hulk is much more clear, on the 360. Also the ridge line is cleaned up a little. However, you are right, the Hulk is the one that is better on the 360 by the least amount.

    more like a car that comes with a manual that tells you somwhere in it's many pages to check the radiator level every week. If I bought a new car and then later found out that I have to put 50/50 in the radiator all the time, I'd be pissed too. Just because you put something in a manual doesn't mean that your product isn't shoddy.

    Those studies are bullshit. TV is the single biggest "addiction" in the US. Perhaps eating is a bigger one. All these so called addictions are nothing more than labels and excuses.     I think for the most part you are projecting your envy onto others. I like my 17 inch screen on my laptop for the same reason most people get a screen bigger than 15 inches at their desk.

    you may have heard of wi-max. It will expand your wireless capability to the max. This will allow power to be transmitted to supporting devices through microwaves inside your house. Initial tests have been successfull, however there seam to be some safety concerns. ;)

    I guess I fail it as a geek, because I don't like to squint. A 17" fits nicely on my lap, and I am not by any means overweight. Furthermore it goes in my bag nicely and is still lighter than any textbook(I'm a grad student).
    Well, I still don't need glasses, though at my last eye check for my drivers license I had a hard time.

    It sucks though. Their prices are MORE expensive than if you go to Dell or something. I think you are still paying the windows tax, then a middle man fee.

    yeah I just tried building from source. There is no INSTALL file and no doc directory. ./configure give a cryptic error message. By reading the source of ./configure I was quickly able to figure out that it needs --enable-application=browser added to it, to compile firefox.

    Seams that somewhere along the line someone fucked up. Readme.txt was the most useless document for this.

    actually it's mostl likely a software issue, in the form of drivers.
    as a high end computer user, you wouldn't see it. It generally happens with cheap hardware. Linux "solves" this problem by not supporting said hardware.
