yeah, but all the web recipes for coke don't have caffeine. I have a bucket of caffeine just not sure how much to add.
Also those web recipes for coke are as dumb as those cake from a mix recipes. Mix syroup with sugar and water, then stick it in a corny keg. If they had recipes for cola that involed boiling a root or something I would go for it, but they always use a realy shitty mix that ends up being way to sweet.
Generally text looks like crap in games and on tv. HDTV and progressive scan really do quite a bit to help text look sharp. Looking at a dvd in 480i and 480p shows the huge difference. especially with something like the andromeda series where there is text at the begining of every episode. Wathching the dvd in 480p the text looks much sharper and clearer with well defined edges.
well, I think the text at the bottom of the hulk is much more clear, on the 360. Also the ridge line is cleaned up a little. However, you are right, the Hulk is the one that is better on the 360 by the least amount.
more like a car that comes with a manual that tells you somwhere in it's many pages to check the radiator level every week. If I bought a new car and then later found out that I have to put 50/50 in the radiator all the time, I'd be pissed too. Just because you put something in a manual doesn't mean that your product isn't shoddy.
>> There are a several studies that say that porn addition is the biggest single addition problem in the US.
Those studies are bullshit. TV is the single biggest "addiction" in the US. Perhaps eating is a bigger one. All these so called addictions are nothing more than labels and excuses. Anything that gives someone pleasure has at one point in time been classified as an addiction. Imagine that people will do something they like, and then do it again.
>> as it would probably cut into your porn time.
How much time do you really think people spend jacking off? Damn you have some serious perception problems. Not only that, but you are acting like a judgemental prick. Does the site of boobies really scare you that much?
>> my brain would do a much better job of classifying what porn is >> Is the site meant to create a sexual arrousal in someone for the purpose of self gratification or other personal gain of some kind?
That's your definition, that's actually quite funny that you would think this is a line that could be drawn. You would have to be a mind reader to find that out. Especially since the purpose of any website is to make money. No porn site owner cares what you do with the porn.
>> Well, I guess if you want it, you can have it, but don't send it to me.
You're really acting like a former alchohlic or smoker that sees others drinking or smoking. It really sounds like you have a disorder. I'm sorry, but the world should not cater to your bullshit. Deal with your own problems yourself.
WTF happened to this site! Well, if anyone is reading this, where have saner people been migrating too. Slashdot has become the corporate whore it pretends to berate.
I suppose your arrogant ass, should be put in charge of classifying what is porn and what isn't.
> Pr0n is the single largest addiction in the US. yeah right behind , caffeine, cigarrettes, alchohol, video games, the internets, slashdot, . . . . Who gives a shit they give people what they want and it's less harmful then all those other "addictions".
I think for the most part you are projecting your envy onto others. I like my 17 inch screen on my laptop for the same reason most people get a screen bigger than 15 inches at their desk.
you may have heard of wi-max. It will expand your wireless capability to the max. This will allow power to be transmitted to supporting devices through microwaves inside your house. Initial tests have been successfull, however there seam to be some safety concerns.;)
I guess I fail it as a geek, because I don't like to squint. A 17" fits nicely on my lap, and I am not by any means overweight. Furthermore it goes in my bag nicely and is still lighter than any textbook(I'm a grad student). Well, I still don't need glasses, though at my last eye check for my drivers license I had a hard time.
> If plugging your existing monitor into the video port of a laptop is too difficult,
wow you are retarded. perhaps you don't understand why people buy laptops. perhaps you think that laptops shouldn't even come with a screen, after all you can always plug a monitor in.
It sucks though. Their prices are MORE expensive than if you go to Dell or something. I think you are still paying the windows tax, then a middle man fee.
yeah I just tried building from source. There is no INSTALL file and no doc directory../configure give a cryptic error message. By reading the source of./configure I was quickly able to figure out that it needs --enable-application=browser added to it, to compile firefox.

actually it's mostl likely a software issue, in the form of drivers. as a high end computer user, you wouldn't see it. It generally happens with cheap hardware. Linux "solves" this problem by not supporting said hardware.

Well only if you insist.
You know what the acronym emacs stands for?
That's right
Escape
Meta
Alt

Movie ratings do not predict movie sales.
Cd reviews do not predict cd sales.
Oh the list goes on.

hmm, higher resolution and anti-aliasing improve visual quality. well, I'll be damned.

yeah right behind , caffeine, cigarrettes, alchohol, video games, the internets, slashdot, . . . . Who gives a shit they give people what they want and it's less harmful then all those other "addictions".
yeah, but at least it's all legal for adults. You're governments can't trust any of it's citizenry with certain types of speech.
yeah, you're absolutely right. That being said the op confused mpaa with riaa and the confusion went down the thread.
works for me, a new network could then spring up, without the corporate crap. As it grows it would get huge and sucky again.
Later

They want you not to be able to, because that implies ability to rip.

of course the better translation that doesn't sound like it was translated a thousand years ago.

unfortunately when I looked at those laptops, they hadn't yet offered one with a 17" screen.

it just works. That's all I need to know. If the xbox can't do that don't buy it.

I heard this same shit something like 10 years ago(or whenever it was java first came out).
