    1. It is possible to install most other operating systems without installing services that open ports.

    2. Default installs shouldn't leave ports open when a machine is first booted.

    3. There is no way to install windows xp while connected to a network with infected compueters, but there are plenty of ways to install other operating systems.

    well, my point is that the govermnent is forcing anyone to use anything. Just saying that there has to be sourcecode for whatever they are using. This used to be the status quo.

    labeling doesn't work. Back in my college days when I read a label that told me not to mix something with something else, I mixed it because it really fucked you up. E.g. Don't drink and take hydrocodone(done that). Don't give blood then drink(well i was poor and could get fucked up on less alchohol). etc . . .

    well, even if you do make a copy by getting around the protection, you will never be quite sure weather today you are actually playing poorly, bad luck, or weather it detected that you have a copy. This could really drive you to get a real copy.

    The original blaster patch "fixed" windows from blaster, but now ms released ms-03-039 because the original balaster patch introduced a new vulnerability. It went from being a buffer over run to a NULL variable. Still exploitable.

    Get a v6 golf if you are in the wrx price range. If you want a fast car in the STI price range get an svt cobra mustang.
    390 horses can't be wrong.
    This way you get some torque, and your car won't be a slow ass turd untill you rev it.

    If you buy a retail copy of a consumer version of windows(windows xp, windows me) you get 2 incidents of general usabilty support and unlimited installation support. That is the warranty included with windows. People do call microsoft for support all the time. Especially to get rid of the blaster worm, which microsoft will help you get rid of for free without using an incident(if you stay on hold long enough).

    you can still buy new ones legally. I know someone that bought one recently. It's pretty cool. Of course though only the semi-automatic. You can only posses semi-automatic ones. Although you can buy the parts to make it into an automatic, those are legal so long as you don't install them.
